It is simple, these stories have been romanticized for modern public consumption but they are still steeped in Idolatory.

In the centuries of brutal colonialism, Africans were told that they had no history and no civilization. The mental slavery still exists today. People actually believe in their hearts that a white man is better than them. The Benin wall according to some historical records was longer than the wall of China in the 16/17th century. We had books of scholarship in Timbuktu, Mali, black people built in pyramids in Egypt and Sudan. Today, the treasures of the Benin kingdom are still in European Museums.

Africans have not told their stories, they have not looked within for solutions. Several of our problems can be resolved by looking within. We can not keep looking for aid money that is designed to help European and American contractors.

The same thing goes for our football. A holistic approach is needed to revamp our football and make its model for Africa. The talent is there. We need to take bold steps to change things.

the guy is very pacy, mobile wit good long range passing skills...I beleive he should be tried in the midfield wit either of ndidi and onazi while mikel play the AM role

we need players that make good passes and good ball control and not the agu and ogu you have in the team...the latter as slow and heavy as something I won't love mention...

this is the world cup...it takes a player wit a lions heart to pose an outstanding performance. If it were to be keshi's team of 2014...I guess you will write Babatunde off...but the dude came out to be one of the best players in that team......wit little experience he played so well.

so...let's give sokari a chance during the March friendlies....if he plays better...drop one of those Benjamins in the midfield for him....we need players that can compete well wit our first 11 and not relax...

The same thing peeps here said about Agu. " He is better than Onazi, "he is better than Ogu". Meanwhile a good number had never seen him play even at his club.

You have not really seen him play so you cannot go all out the way you are doing to call for his inclusion.

Don't be deceived by what most of those writers are writing. They are full of hypes.

super eagles material are know first from their clubs...posing outstanding performance...thereafter upon invites to the super eagles camp to prove their worth...or rather how good they're....

in this case...sokari and Joel obi is still in the phase 1....let both be invited and let rohr and the rest Nigerians see if they can deliver....I am not sayn he should walk straight to Russia wit the team...let him prove himself first in camp...should he impress...fine...and otherwise..dropped.

I don't belong to the category of writing players off all because they play in low life leagues...

this guys are not opportuned like some who are dual nationals of other countries...like iwobi and balogun etc.....

Are we presenting a team of time past or present in Russia?

You even said you have watched Sokari in time past. I may presume you are referring to the 2015 U20 WC and 2015 AAG.

Looking at the current crop of midfielders in the team, what can Sokari bring to the table that will be better than what the current crop can bring?
You cannot just conclude that Solari is better than Mikel Agu and Joel Obi when he, Sokari himself, is not tested at that level. The gulf in class between Joel Obi and Kingsley Sokari is just too much. If there is any other midfielder out there that deserves a call or recall ahead of Russia it is Joel Obi.

Kingsley Sokari is not a Super Eagles material. You can quote me any where.
