In our midfield.... with this players I believe we're covered... Mikel Onazi Ndidi Agu/Sokari Ogu/Joel Obi. wit all honesty...I will drop agu and ogu for both Joel Obi and Sokari.... they're both better....and can offer more to the team offensively and defensively...moreover shehu can alternate too as DM. 1 Like |

Icon4s:if agu can make it to the team...then I believe sokari is better..... you see the super eagles team as one Brazilian team where a player ought to have scale through several hurdles before he get to feature.... naaay we're in Nigeria...many playing in that team are not better than him and Joel Obi... we need players that make good passes and good ball control and not the agu and ogu you have in the team...the latter as slow and heavy as something I won't love mention... |

Icon4s:Oga icon I have always been following him... this is the world cup...it takes a player wit a lions heart to pose an outstanding performance. If it were to be keshi's team of 2014...I guess you will write Babatunde off...but the dude came out to be one of the best players in that team......wit little experience he played so well. so...let's give sokari a chance during the March friendlies....if he plays better...drop one of those Benjamins in the midfield for him....we need players that can compete well wit our first 11 and not relax... 1 Like |

Humility017: Sports sites. Is it not the ones that some people are writing here? Filled with so much sentiments and super patriotism. You have not really seen him play so you cannot go all out the way you are doing to call for his inclusion. Don't be deceived by what most of those writers are writing. They are full of hypes. 2 Likes |

For the sake of representation, a team was formed For the sake of the team, stars were born. For the sake of grooming stars, the golden generation were found. For the sake of the golden generation, consistency was formed. For the sake of consistency, reliving moments surfaced. For that very sake, the super eagles thread was formed. And for this very sake.....the world cup dream came true! oh! oh!! ohhu!! Merry christmas to everyone in this big fam!! 5 Likes |

Icon4s:then who is a super eagles material...? can you please elaborate on it...then we can both use your exposition to compare the various players in time past that have been invited so as to know who meet the criteria... super eagles material are know first from their clubs...posing outstanding performance...thereafter upon invites to the super eagles camp to prove their worth...or rather how good they're.... in this case...sokari and Joel obi is still in the phase 1....let both be invited and let rohr and the rest Nigerians see if they can deliver....I am not sayn he should walk straight to Russia wit the team...let him prove himself first in camp...should he impress...fine...and otherwise..dropped. I don't belong to the category of writing players off all because they play in low life leagues... this guys are not opportuned like some who are dual nationals of other countries...like iwobi and balogun etc..... all he has achieved thus far...is as a result of hardwork..... had it been he was a Tunisian, nothing would have stopped him from not making Tunisia world cup party.... or you think Tunisians will just begin to hype a foreigner who has no good qualities... let him be invited and tried likewise Joel obi..... we must not continue to promote mediocores....there are many players who play better than some of those players in the super eagles call up every match period.....and they're Nigerians... why leave them behind....? invite them and let the coaching crew judge. 4 Likes |

Humility017: Forget about time past. We are talking of the present. Are we presenting a team of time past or present in Russia? You even said you have watched Sokari in time past. I may presume you are referring to the 2015 U20 WC and 2015 AAG. Looking at the current crop of midfielders in the team, what can Sokari bring to the table that will be better than what the current crop can bring? You cannot just conclude that Solari is better than Mikel Agu and Joel Obi when he, Sokari himself, is not tested at that level. The gulf in class between Joel Obi and Kingsley Sokari is just too much. If there is any other midfielder out there that deserves a call or recall ahead of Russia it is Joel Obi. Kingsley Sokari is not a Super Eagles material. You can quote me any where. 1 Like |
