safarigirl:we are looking for a good midfielder that can compete wit the ones we already have for a starting berth....even when he has to sit on the bench...his introduction will bring in some flare and qualities.... 1 Like |

joseph1013:lol Na so o I think one thing going for Sokari is that he is one of the few pure central midfield players we have but I can't say if he is better than joel. No doubt he's a competent midfielder but the few times I watched him I wasn't bowled over he looks just average to me but hey what do I know I'm not the coach |

Humility017: Emm! Why do you prefer Sokari over Joel Obi? Are you insinuating Sokari is better than Joel Obi? Because I yam not understanding. |

forgiveness:I choosed him over joel obi because of fitness issues..... when it comes to long and short range passing...I believe they're both on same scale...though J. Obi is way more technical and skillful....... a fit Joel obi I am okay wit... to be honest....I believe either of them is way better than Agu... we shouldn't waste that slot.... 1 Like |

Humility017:Sokari cannot compete with the midfielders we currently have for a starting berth Which brings me to the question, if you gotta put a nigga on the bench, why you gotta put a nigga that looks like Oritsefemi? You know how many times the camera will go to the bench? How do you explain that? I mean, if you have to be ugly, be exceptionally ugly, so that people will marvel at you, I mean, Bance ugly is perfect, but Oritsefemi? *sigh* |

forgiveness: you should know by now...those two players you wrote first...won't be going to Russia.... the possibility is way high...they wont even make the team friendlies..... and for ogu...his saving grace was that goal he scored against Algeria....... not that exceptional... 3 Likes |

safarigirl: you really play too much....the guy may be ugly but his cash is not....ugly..... forget about being ugly....or handsome...looks don't play football....let him sit there on the bench....better than have Agu who will only come in to cause a foul....or someone that can't give one long range pass to the players upfront... I understand....sokari can't compete wit the current starting 11....but will be a good sub. if we don't want sokari....Joel will be better...than having Agu.... let see them play for first...and then we compare.... |

Humility017:so, Sokari is exceptional now? So exceptional that his career is in the Tunis league and even there he couldn't shine enough to be in a 30-man list for CAF Africa-based APOTY? Guy, easy with the hype, Sokari is not even exceptional at all, talk less of the 'that' in front of it 1 Like |

Humility017: Now, I am understanding. But for clarity sake, I want to state clearly and boldly that Joel Obi and Sokari are not in the same Level. I mean holistically speaking. No bi same category oooo. That being said, I totally disagree that Joel Obi should not be given a chance based on fitness issues because as at now Joel obi is fit and stable. And he is read to go to the world cup. Gbam However, it is totally unfair to compare Joel Obi and Sokari who are CMFs to Agu who is a DMF. We can't pack our midfield with CMFs without considering the DMF hence the need for Agu to compete with whosever wants that DMF slot. |

daveP:you people always assume in extremes. So, you mean we cannot find one decent-looking CM that plays well in a nation of over 180 million and beyond? We're already taking Etebo because we can use Ebuehi to dilute his intense looks, if Sokari is joining the party, we better start working towards Cyriel Dessers, Deji Beyreuther or Maduka Okoye to ensure we have a camera-friendly bench |

Humility017: How do you know? If you know how Ogu made the team then you will know Abdul stands a better chance if he helps his club to win a trophy with MOTM award. Nothing is guaranteed until March or June. However, we need to see Agu and Ogu again. Are they fighting for the same slot? I doubt. |

Humility017: I do not see Agu and Joel Obi as like replacements. I doubt Joel Obi can play as a defensive midfielder better than Mikel Agu. So I do not think we can just say drop Agu for Joel Obi. Funny one took Mikel’s first name (Mikel) the other took Mikel’s last name (Obi). 1 Like |
