9jakohai: I see where you are coming from, but I just can not deal with the ignorant assertions about the economy under PMB as if he created the economic disaster where in when in fact the disaster was created by jonathan and the ones before him for not investing huge oil earnings on infrastructures, they did not diversify or save for an rainy day and to make matters worse, jona was borrowing billions to pay workers salary so the question remains why was he borrowing billions to pay workers salary if the economy was so great and also what did we get in return for the largest oil earnings under jona. 1 Like 1 Share |

9jakohai: High crude cost also means high cost of the products from distillation (pms, ago, dpk etc), and low crude cost also means less cost for products of distillation (pms, ago, dpk etc). Either way, the idea of surplus dollar due to high crude cost is a mirage. It's still basically the same situation (except when you factor in production levels). In the end it's all about who manages it better. #mytake |

FILEBE:voters are ever ready to try new persons but they don't have much choice when there are no votees to choose from. And ambode Is just as useless as fashola. Doing just enough to win reelection but not actually his full potential to move Lagos forward. No agric or industrial investment. All na wash |

Re: Goodluck Jonathan's Christmas Message And Reactions From Nigerians by LordAdam16: 3:58pm On Dec 25, 2017 |
deomelo: But you said GEJ was the greatest looter ever in Nigeria. Abi are you backtracking already? Or is $2b larger than $12b? Or you don't know the definition of looting? OBJ spent $16b on electricity. Is OBJ not the APC navigator? And how is GEJ the greatest looter when OBJ spent 3 times more than he did on electricity yet added more MW than OBJ? And I should ask you, how much out of the so-called $2b has been recovered? How do you reconcile that less than N10b was recovered from a loot of more than N300b? How is it irrelevant? Are you okay at all. How can you say that someone looted N300b, yet only N10b was recovered. That is less than 5%. So what happened to the 95%? Were they spent or just vanished into thin air? To answer your questions: In what rule book is it said that governments must only borrow to finance capital projects. Did GEJ's administration not borrow to finance capital projects? Or are you going to single out the instance where the money was used to pay salaries. Would you have preferred if the workers weren't paid? And in the period where part of the borrowed money was used to pay salaries, was revenue and loans not used to pay for capital projects? Or do you just have a problem with federal civil servants. Do you even realize that 70%+ of the budget (then and now) was for recurrent expenditure. So if 70% of the budget was for salaries and other recurrent expenditure, are you saying that part of the money borrowed should have not being used for paying salaries when revenues reduced. And since PMB hasn't commissioned a new project and halted other ongoing projects, what is he using the money he's getting for? 1. Subsidy 2. Infrastructure--rail, roads, education, electricity et cetera 3. Agricultural revolution Now tell me what PMB has used his for... 2. Can you provide proof that GEJ was borrowing to pay salaries when oil was at $100/barrel? You see yourself. Was the loan to pay salaries taken in 2014 or 2015? Illiterate, like your President. -Lord 2 Likes |

mikolo80:. Who says we don't have much choice? We have more than 12 political parties with different candidates for elections. Which other choices do we have again? Did you Vote Kowa party!? Did you vote labour party? Did you vote Upn and lots more? We have choices o just that we have been made to look like we don't have. You might be right about Ambode not reaching his full potential. I actually don't like or vouch for any Nigerian politician. They should just work well is my own. |

LordAdam16: This is how I know you are uneducated or a waste of education let me give you a brief lecture A plan is the most important document for an individual organisation or country aiming for progress. For example if you want to get out of your present level of stupidity you draw up a 2018 "bringing Lord out of stupidity plan" 2.The plan should have clear Goals and objectives ,clear strategies on how to get there.Such a plan should have roles and responsibilities of everyone listed, plan source of funding for its implementation and how to measure progress towards its achievement..Our National plan is been implemented. It explains many activities of this government and the projects we are borrowing to implement What was your Oga GEJ so plan. That is the true blue print to measure his success at the end of his tenure. 3.This administration has its plans 2017_2020 listed clearly.I don't have the time or the space and it's Christmas's. It will require an entire thread. You on the other hand need to get an education on how to review a document |

FILEBE: Name them We have more than 12 political parties with different candidates for elections.Name them You can't cos they're not serious Just there to collect inec money or for disgruntled elements to run to if they don't win party primaries Which other choices do we have again? Did you Vote Kowa party!?I don't know their candidate. If he can't make himself known then he's not ready. Did you vote labour party? Did you vote Upn and lots more? We have choices o just that we have been made to look like we don't have.So if I bring innoson car and Benz which will you choose. Not only must they come out. They MUST CONVINCE voters that they can deliver. Actions louder than words see you don't vote yet want change. Anyway recent research shows that we don't need govt to solve most of our problems |

phineas: So you spent 5 minutes writing a reply and you did not even care to give one detail contained in the EGRP plan. You are as daft as your NEPA bill President. I'm giving you nuggets out of the plan because I've read it, yet somehow I need an education on how to review a document. Where should I get it from? BMC headquarters. Joker. Toting a plan you haven't read, can't tell how it would be funded, nor how it would be implemented. No wonder you believed Buhari when he said he'd make N1=$1 and stabilize world oil price. Na relaxer full your skull. Merry Christmas! -Lord |

deomelo: United States of America is the most debtor country in the whole world. Mr Buhari is the current president of Nigeria, whether he and his APC political party like it or not, they are in charge and it is their four(4) years responsibilities to provide for Nigerians electorates at all times. We are tired of blames games by Buhari aides. |

[s] LordAdam16:[/s] Very ignorant, reterdedd, unintelligent and silly on your part not to know that budgets to run governments including borrowings are formulated in the year before. How do you even go broke next year after raking oil windfall for several years this year and even go borrowing to pay workers salary? When you are done dancing around with silly and irrelevant essays, please tell us how you borrow tomorrow with your bank account full with money yesterday and your business making money left and right. Sometimes I wonder about your lousy judgments and puerile mental stability. |
