It is known fact that the Igbos supported and voted Chief Olusegun Obasanjo (SW) during the 1999 and 2003 elections. Who created jobs for all Nigerians regardless of religion or tribe
It is also known fact that the igbos rallied behind Late president Umoru Musa Yaradua (North) during the 2007 election. Who loved all Nigerians dearly regardless of religion or tribe
It is also known that the igbo supported Goodluck ebele Jonathan (SS) during the 2011 election. Who called his political ambition valueless as compared to the life of any Nigerian.
Did the Igbo man see something in Muhammadu Buhari (who has made living in Nigeria hard for Nigerians) with record breaking number of enslaved and unemployed youths, which made them refuse to vote him en mass in the 2015 election.
Did the Igbo man vote for what they felt was best for Nigeria or did they play the worse politics known by humanity as they have been labelled for.

Yes they did and they were absolutely right from the beginning.

Igbos stand strongly on principle. Buhari ran twice in the past with Igbo VP candidates but igbos were smart enough to see through that gimmick.

But the other group saw VP position and myopically jumped on board. Lost all their sophistication instantly.

They forgot that the same buhari misruled Nigeria in the past and in 2011 post election, a lot of their youths were slaughtered by buhari supporters.

An Igbo man will always stand on what he think is right irrespective of the consequences. At times that actually causes huge problem for them.

For me in particular, I never believe in Buhari so am not surprise at his failure.

You don't even need to be a prophet or political scientist to predict that buhari would be A Big failure. Just mere common sense by looking at his past.

The reason (most were deceived) is Blind Hatred, tribalism, lack of decorum and political sophistication.

Those who pride themselves of sophistication always end up proving that they are not whenever they are given a chance.

What happened to all the companies and utilities that was taken over after indigenization policy. They were sophistically managed and today, none of them exist.

The fact is an Igbo man brain is long-term inclined. Perhaps it's because of history of persecution. More like the Jews, they don't wait for something to happen before they take action; they are more proactive to prevent something from happening. That's why Jews and Igbos are very successful...they plan for tomorrow; not waiting for tomorrow to come before planning. Jews are notorious for this...there is reason why they rule this world; control every facet of our life. Dr. Thomas Sowell explained this in detail in his book on why some ethnic groups are very successful. This why wherever they(Jews and Igbos) are or go, they out-think the host prompting the host to see them as being dominant. In America and Europe the whites fear Jews because they think they are dominant; same way Yoruba and Hausa-Fulani view Igbos.

On the other hand, Yorubas are reactive in nature; if you like warn them, show them evidence of what will happen, lie lie, you are wasting your time. They instead wait for that to happen before they realize the truth. This has to do with communal culture; Yoruba and Hausa-Fulani culture is communal; group thinking. There is zero to no individual thinking.

Also an Igbo man doesn't play with fairness, justice and equity. Even if it means at his own detriment, he will stick to this. Primarily because the fundamental, the basis of Igbo culture is built on those principles!

Real patriotism is when you see all places in Nigeria as one, a place where you can settle, do business, develop, vote and be voted for.

Anybody who best fits into this definition won't vote for its antitype.

This is what I have been saying. Igbos are the only ones that fully live on the principle and true meaning of one Nigeria.

Unlike others that shout how patriotic that they are especially when it comes to sharing oil money, igbos back it up with action. They invest everywhere and treat every community as their own.

Even though they always accuse igbos of not being patriotic, yet those accusing igbos don't even believe in Nigeria as proven by their actions. This is why I believe that oil depreciation will expose who is who.

Honestly i don't think it's not just igbos. I think all southern group except Yoruba and edo saw buhari for exactly what he is. We igbo just took most of the bashing because we didn't follow yoruba in their greedy choice hence they engaged in their usual igbo bashing, tribalistic rants that they are well known for.

If just out of the blue you start seeing a man you've bashed repeatedly as "saint cane to save Nigeria" all because he choose one of your own as his VP, it show how myopic and greedy as a group they are. They let their greedy and desperation to be in leadership delude them and now they are the ones crying about it with ever body else.

Ironically the southern group that got played by a certificateless illiterate are thr ones that self deluded themselves as "the most educated" as well "politically saavy" and all other bullshit they call themselves. To me, the IQ of your typical yoruba has to be in the negative. Most gullible dimwits with grandiose delusions I've ever seen.

Anyone with half a sense can tell buhari has zero clue on how to lead. His past history in leadership proved multiple times. Hell even how he raised his cows proved it. The niggas cow were the same number fpr years. A big red flag right there but the gullible self claimed "sophisticated" ones couldn't read the handwritten simply because "my brother is vp." Ironically, they are the ones that claim they don't vote by tribal belief or rather "my brother" belief. So funny the amount of delusions they tell themselves honestly.

The North gave Buhari 97% and the Yorubas voted massively for Buhari in Ogun, Oyo and Osun.

Only Ekiti and Ondo plus Lagos gave Buhari about 45 - 60% vote margin.

It is only in Ekiti that Buhari lost in the SW and the margin was not that big.

Ondo went to Buhari and Lagos votes that went to Goodluck can be attributed to non-Yorubas residing in Lagos.
