If we use this to project the population of Igbos in the SW, it should be over 11 million, bearing in mind that Tinubu's census showed that 18 million people were living in Lagos during his tenure.

Nigeria does not operate monarchy. We are not talking about obaship, are' ona kakanfo or similar title. Nigerians who earn money, pay tax in a state have same rights as the indigenous people. The constitution allows them to vote and be voted for. It is not really about accommodating people as you put it. Rather people are leveraging their rights as Nigerians.
