CIC website provides the official information guide for all visa application processes. Why dont you get yours 1st prior to inviting anyone. My 2 cents SV In addition to the questions below, after getting PPR how easy or hard is it to invite an unmarried female friend to live with you in Canada. i know you can always help someone with an invitation letter for a visit visa but i guess if she's going to be living permanently with you then the procedure must be different, I've applied as single but would want to invite someone to stay with me once i settle down. |

POST ITA Questions for the elders in the house, please I see the questions, Have you applied to IRCC before? Also, Have you applied for Permanent Residency before? Just for clarity sake, my first express entry profile was found ineligible by reason of omission of my BSc from education history pre-ITA. I then realised the error and filled out the new profile I got ITA with but I'm afraid I entered YES to the questions above and entered the express entry profile number in place of the pr application number which explains why the questions were answered YES by default post-ITA and I find the EE profile number in the place of PR application number. Silly me! So my questions are that doesn't count as application to IRCC does it? I know it doesnt count as a PR application though! Also, how does changing the answers to NO affect anything? They dont have pre-ITA info stored somewhere do they? I'm just correcting the error that I made, innit? |

you are using the correct CIC CRS calculator, this question simply asked for the number of years you have experience in with your present NOC. If you chose No in the drop down menu, you won't be able to proceed and the systems identifies you as not qualified for express entry. **Options given A B 0 None of the above I answered None of the above since I have not been to Canada. Then I was told I am not eligible to apply. QUESTION: 1. Should I have answered - one year and above and also placed my NOC which is A or ...? Funshobabs , Please how were u able to resolve this , because each time I try to apply on the Come to Canada tool, it says I'm not eligible Thanks |

good day house, please I am planning to take part in this express entry in a few months time. However, I wanted to know what my chances are with a two years experience, assuming I had a very good IELTS score. |

Thank you all for your input on my question although most responses were harsh. We all read and interpret differently. There was no need to indirectly lay insults. I was ready to wait for my ECA result before entering the pool, seniors ahead of us said, 'just enter the pool, use ur Wes reference and the projected time ur ECA result will be out. I processed the infor, did as they adviced but I was uncomfortable hence I had to reask on this forum. Based on analysis of the responses I got the honest truth is that most of us here are also misrepresenting or misrepresented. If you do not have your POF complete, you also have no business being in d pool. We know the minimum needed amount, we do not have it, yet we claim we have it and work towards achieving it before the 3 months period is over. My hubby has read the ITA mail, and he is fully convinced that we are not misrepresenting. It is stated there, that if your situation changes POST ITA, recalculate you CRS. Our Situation has not changed PRE & POST ITA, we are not claiming a master's which we do not have. I have even asked him that lets decline, but he has refused. According to him, one person took the risk of using gift deed - now everyone uses gift deed. He is ready to take the risk as he wants to prove to me That claiming readiness of ECA report and Claiming completeness of POF is the same thing and has no risk so far, you get it before the 3months expiration. May it end in praise for us all. 1 Like |

fantababy: My dear Fantababy, Please note that no senior worth his/her salt on this thread would advise you to jump into the pool before you get your ECA. All seniors here tell people there are two things you need to get onto the pool - your IELTS results and your ECA. They are the basic requirements for being eligible to be a candidate in the pool and the IRCC guidelines state that clearly. This is the reason the questions concerning those two are ‘do you have an ECA and what date was it completed, do you have language results and what day was the exam taken, what was the result date’. Note that with respect to funds (not proof of funds), the question is ‘how much will you be bringing to Canada’. This implies that since the questions regarding IELTS and ECA are asked in the past tense, it is expected that you already have them. There is no expectation for you to already have the funds before the pool. You should tell them how much you will bring in future but the requirement to show prooof that you have it is not at pool stage but after ITA. I hope this helps to clarify. My candid advice to you and your husband is to decline this ITA and ensure your ITA date is after your ECA and IELTS dates (which as I have mentioned are requirements for you to be in the pool in the first instance). If everyone could claim future ECAs, the pool will be overflowing by now. However, you can choose to take your chances and then your experience will guide those coming after you. I hope you will come back to share. 34 Likes |

Hello house. Thanks to everyone for all d info so far. Please i wld like to ask for advice. My hubby and i have just bsc and 5 years work experience. i intend to write ielts to support. My question is do i need to also do an ECA for my Bsc since my hubby is the PA? And is it ok to select the cheaper postal option in WES since the hard copy is not really needed. Will a soft copy also be sent to me? Thanks. |

Re: Canadian Express Entry/Federal Skilled Workers Program-Connect Here Part 3 by Nobody: 8:31am On Dec 27, 2017 |
chichi93: What will determine if you need an ECA for your BSc is if you simulate your CRS points without it and determine whether you have enough for an ITA. If you don’t, then your ECA will add points to your husband’s CRS. For your WES report, it will be available for you to download online and you can select regular post for the physical copy. Folks on here have done that and received their physical copies although it will probably take longer to arrive than courier but since you have the electronic version, that shouldn’t matter. 1 Like |

fantababy: So what was the point of that your religious testimony? Lol Nigerians be doing the wrong and still saying "may it end in praise". Praise to who? God or satan? And for you to write that line regarding POF shows you don't fully understand the process. However, I wish you luck in your application and pray you get a lazy VO that would let you and the hisband's deceit fly. 9 Likes |
