Re: General German Student Visa Enquiries Part 4 by doubletroublmum(f): 6:50pm On Dec 26, 2017 |
A Nigerian driving license can be used for a period of six months in Germany. After that you will have to change it to a German license if you want to continue driving here. For changing it you must verify your license, translate it and go for a theoretical and practical test. 6 Likes |

Guys, please I have two questions.. Firstly,On my transcript,my middle name was interchanged with my first name.. For instance instead of OLORUNLONIMI DANIEL ELIJAH, it was written as OLORUNLONIMI ELIJAH DANIEL, since all my remaining documents are in the correct format, will this change have any effect on my application? Secondly, when we are asked to upload our CV and Statement of purpose on a portal, will I type my CV on an A4 paper and upload it maybe with picture? and also what is the heading that I should use for the Statement of purpose? Should it just be STATEMENT OF PURPOSE as a heading? |

KendrickAyomide: I don't think there's anything like cheap universities, some universities now require you to pay tuition. While most universities are free in Germany, you still have to pay semester fee. For nursing, you must have an Abitur or something similar. Unfortunately, Germany doesn't accept waec nor neco Also the course is regulated which means, they only accept a number of applicants

Hi guys, so I'm filling my visa application form as against my appointment later this week...I intend to use a sponsorship letter but due to the holiday season and unforeseen circumstances, i won't be available to present it on my interview date this week..I intend to go with my blocked account details which I opened in August for the winter semester 2017 but couldn't meet up for due to the embassy appointment situation...so I have a few questions I want you guys to help me out on..... 1) How do I go about using my blocked account details for the interview and later submitting my sponsorship letter when I get it without complicating issues for myself (read about a similar situation on this thread but can't locate precisely the page that is). 2) When asked about my means of sustenance on the application form, should I fill blocked account or sponsorship (considering my above situation). 3) On a lighter mood, how did you guys that have already gone for the interview sort out hotel accommodation issues (as par high pricing on the Island) cos I intend to be in Lagos a day before my D-day to avoid stories that touches(Lagos recent traffic and fuel palaver).. Thanks 1 Like |

KendrickAyomide: Please don't stress yourself, Germans go to school for 13 years before writing the Abitur. I'm not sure it's something you could do Just look into 'Auslbildung als Krankenschwester in Deutschland'. Use chrome, so you can translate the websites Germany even need nurses, so I think Ausbildung is easier to get into 4 Likes 2 Shares |

Hi I'm reading a lot about visa for Ausbildung, since my cousin wants to go for it in Germany. One big problem is the language. As far as I got to know, you must at least soak Deutsch level A1, before they allow you to start this Ausbildung. Maybe somebody is having different news??! 1 Like |

KendrickAyomide: Learn German to B2 level if U intend to proceed wit applying for courses that their language of instruction is German |
Re: General German Student Visa Enquiries Part 4 by Nobody: 10:25pm On Dec 26, 2017 |
doubletroublmum: I have two friends who came here through Ausbildung, they learned till b1 in Nigeria before coming You know during Ausbildung, your cousin would learn with other Germans, so I think A1 won't be enough to understand what's being taught. At least he/she should learn up to b1 1 Like |

seeker63: Just go with your blocked account details for the visa interview. When asked source of funding, answer with the source you intend using when you opened the blocked account. But make sure you get your sponsorship letter across to the consulate by the second week after the visa interview to avoid rejection. I know someone who did something like that and it worked for the person 1 Like |

seeker63: 1. Just proceed with taking Ur block account confirmation details on d day of Ur interview n act in line like every other person who intend using block account And be careful with the way U approach questions like: Do U av relative(s) in Germany? Do U av friends in Germany? because it will not b reasonable answering NO to d above questions n now turning in SL later. If Ur sponsor is related to U after saying yes feel free to tell d VO his/her name. After d interview try as much as possible to turn in Ur SL early. Beware of delay . . . So just act in line wit other block account user till after U turn in Ur SL. 3. I guess av heard about a cheap hotel around. Just do more research or try to confirm from persons having interview b4 U or better still just concluded winter applicants will av something to say about dis. My little contribution. . . 6 Likes |
