Stingman: Cos you won't make it.. you'll probably die of hunger amd starvation which we don't wish you for now. We saw what played out during civil war when we cut food supplies to your region thinking you lots could feed yourselves. But no we were wrong,You people started rationing food remnants and even turned on one another and became cannibals. We don't want you to suffer 5 Likes |

Stingman: Because Awo made a pact with the north just before the civil war. Lagos seaports and everything concerning the sea belongs to the north. They are trapped in their marriage to the north “Eventually when the war was to start with Biafra, [Awolowo] went to Ibadan and gathered all Yorubas that they should know the war about to commence was between the North and the East, and the Yoruba in the West were not part of it,” he said. “We received this with shock and the whole Northerners met in Kaduna and we issued them a warning that we heard they (Yoruba) were not part of it and we agreed but we have one demand,” he said. That condition, according to him was the establishment of a One Mile Corridor. “From Offa which is in our region, from the rail line to the sea (wharf) we declare One Mile Military Corridor, meaning all of them who built houses within One Mile, we will crush down their houses. And nobody will stop our vehicles and vessels from accessing the sea, this we told our Yorubas in Ilorin to tell them. And from that time we never hear them. This is Military Corridor, we of the past hope our children will carry it,” warning that nobody could stop the people of the North, whom he said number 120 million, from accessing the sea." - Alhaji Usman Faruk www.saharareporters.com/2012/08/13/northern-muslim-elders-reply-asari-dokubo-go-and-read-your-history 6 Likes 3 Shares |

The real question is why can't ibos exist peacefully with anyone? The Yorubas are about the only people who can tolerate them. Hausa Fulani folks just rescinded their quit notice on ibos. The Ghanaians will like to kick him out. The South Africans wants to kick him out too. The Malaysians think he is the scourge of the continent. The Chinese wants to put him in jail until he can pay for his own flight back to Nigeria. The Thais, the Vietnamese, Australians, Brazilians all start sweating and distressed as soon as they see them. Even in Iboland the few who are good people are scared to go home for fear of people like Osisikankwu and Evans or someone randomly shooting up the church killing everyone. Yorubas deserve commendation for tolerating ibos. May God continue to bless Oodualand. 13 Likes 2 Shares |

Gotze1: The question again, in case you have derailed... Why don't you want out and rule yourselves like your cousins in Port Novo? Remember they have light and not queueing for fuel every Christmas...Why do you love one Nigeria...the way it has been? That is the question. 4 Likes |

Stingman: We're discussing biafra not SEDC bill.. SEDC to be funded by who if I may ask? SW generated revenue or how. You think SW don't need development too? I don't think you're serious. How much does SE remit to federation account to deserve SEDC. You better wake up and agitate for biafra cos even me will never support such. 1 Like |

tobillionaire: The problem is ibos inability to coexist peacefully with anyone. Before the white man, they grouped themselves into clans, each of them completely independent of the other. It was so bad that if you stray to another clan you could be eaten. Stingman and some other folks would like to go back to that period. 5 Likes |

Guestlander: Why are you cousins in Port Novo, not like you? They have seaports and airports too. Thank God for Igbos who are a blessing to Nigeria...but they deserve to be treated equally. If they have been receiving from the FG like your region for 50 years...You would imagine what the region would be like after the civil war.... On co-existence...Igbos live with more tribes better than you yorubas...How many yorubas are outside of their region? 4 Likes |

Diademk07: Learn your history. It's clear as a sunny day. “We received this with shock and the whole Northerners met in Kaduna and we issued them a warning that we heard they (Yoruba) were not part of it and we agreed but we have one demand,” he said. That condition, according to him was the establishment of a One Mile Corridor. “From Offa which is in our region, from the rail line to the sea (wharf) we declare One Mile Military Corridor, " Today the northerners dominate the NPA and Customs. Dangote is constructing the road that leads from apapa seaport and will collect tolls... Look around and see reality 4 Likes |

Stingman:If three of you your friends are doing business and you want out, must others want out before you can be free? Or are they the one holding your destiny. One of westlife left and the four of them continue their lives, he did not cry for others to go before he can go. If you want to go, go, don't wait for others to before you do. Go to the right path. Leave Yoruba out of your misery. The day we wish, we will go. Go your own. Scotland does not blame UK for anything, they do it on their own. North Korea did not blame South Korea, they do it in a sane way that and others are doing fine. Leave Yoruba alone, we don't need you to make us feel important. 3 Likes |

Stingman: That's a thing of shame.. How many Americans or Britons do you see running away from their home to live with others and speak foreign languages? Most Igbos I've met in the North speak Hausa better than they speak igbo. But they come online to preach hatred towards the Hausas, calling them unprintable names. That's a "Chameleon" way of life and it's bad. 2 Likes |

Stingman: Co-exist peacefully is the code word. Everywhere on the planet where you find a large group of ibos there's a problem, with locals trying to chase them out. This is not a Yoruba problem. All over Yorubaland from from Kwara to Ondo, you will find Nigerians from every tribe, creed or religion living peacefully with the locals. Only ibos for example attempted to challenge the authority of Deji of Akure, thereby drawing the ire of Akure and Yoruba people in general. Before oil, Yorubaland was ahead of iboland, and Yoruba cannot take the blame for a war you started yourself. 1 Like |
