..another question.

Will the Yorubas leave the Biafrans alone as they try to leave on their own?

Will they keep their mouth shut and not shouting about Burutai and his python dance?
Did the Yoruba ever hold biafrans before? How do they hold you? Yoruba asked you to leave Lagos, but you refused and start saying it will become slum. Yoruba said, go back home so you can have your biafra, but you refused. Northerners begged you to leave their land and even gave quit notice, all you do was crying to ICC and refused to leave. Now tell me, what else do you want? Are you sure you are ready to leave?

The inferiority complex coming to the fore again.
Who do you think you are trying to impress with random pictures of buildings in iboland?
You are making your case to the wrong people. Leave if you want to leave then you can start sending us postcards from Biafra.

You mention ground zero...What complex is that, when you lie deliberately, to deceive people?...

We want to leave...but are asking why you don't want the same...and creating stumbling blocks to those who want to leave.

Many Yoruba are contempt because we have been succeeding IN SPITE of Nigeria. But honestly, we can do soooooo much better on our own. We still have the first African to have a Nobel prize, the first African to fly around the world, one of the first industrialized industries in Coco, we had the first television network in sub Saharan Africa, our entrepreneurship has created many industries in Ogun. We own the ICT market in Nigeria: Jumia, jobberman, iroko, konga, etc. Yorubas are as smart, cultured and organized as many european and Asian societies. If we didn't have the dead weight of Nigeria, yorubaland would have been Singapore or Japan by today. So I honestly support disintegration.

If we are going to leave Nigeria it will be our own decision and on our own time and terms not by prodding by ibos or anyone else.

Co-exist peacefully is the code word. Everywhere on the planet where you find a large group of ibos there's a problem, with locals trying to chase them out. This is not a Yoruba problem.
All over Yorubaland from from Kwara to Ondo, you will find Nigerians from every tribe, creed or religion living peacefully with the locals.
Only ibos for example attempted to challenge the authority of Deji of Akure, thereby drawing the ire of Akure and Yoruba people in general.
Before oil, Yorubaland was ahead of iboland, and Yoruba cannot take the blame for a war you started yourself.

Yorubas travel all over Nigeria except Alaigbo, they also have strong communities in prosperous and conducive cities all over West Africa like Accra, Tema, Takoradi, Freetown, Monrovia, Abijan, Lome, Dakar, Bamako, Banjul.

There must be something really repulsive about Alaigbo that makes Yoruba shun the place like plague, who except a mad man will be running for safety to the direction even the owners are fleeing from?

Agreed. But prodding or not, what I stated is true. Not to sound tribalistic but the evidence is there. The Yorubas have been a step ahead of every other tribe for many major accomplishments and industries for a very long time. I mean, the two of the competing e-commerce sites are yoruba created. Even the biggest Nigerian forum we are communicating with now was created by a Yoruba guy.

pls what's Igbo probs sef ?

It's either the FG develop all regions equally...like given each region, something like $1 billion for them to develop their infrastructure, that is most important to them...not just developing only the SW and the north..or allow any region who wants to leave to do so through a referendum. Tribes who are benefiting from the rot in the country, like the Yorubas should not stand in the way of the tribes that want to leave...

That is the probs of the Igbos.

Is that understood?

This is an observation I have made over some time now.

Why are the Yorubas ready to take anything thrown at them, especially by the Igbos just so long as Nigeria remains?

They have the seaports, major international airports, major train system, best investment location...more educated and more industrious than any tribe in Africa...or so they claim...Yet they are ready to receive insults including letting others buy their lands, develop it, and even become their Obas and governors...All for One Nigeria.

Is there something they are not telling us? Why are they so desperate for one Nigeria...even when their leader Awo stated that Nigeria was never a nation. Why are they ready to give up their pride, culture, and tradition for one Nigeria?

The Yari.ba are the sole beneficiaries of dilapidated and unprogressive zoo called Nigeria. They are happy as long as Nigeria is backward. Anytime the call for Nigeria's disintegration is made, Yari.ba people go into a tailspin of temporary madness. They have the false sense of assumption that since Lagos is situated in Yari.ba land with all the financial benefits that linked to it, Yari.ba peeps think they are now on top of the world. They foolishly forgot that such pretense is a mark of disaster to come. It is this type of false sense of pretense that will lead to war when Nigeria tends to disunion.

That's because your Kanu basically declared verbal war against Yorubas with his vicious comments against the Yorubas in particular. Why, I don't know. When he honestly could have befriended Yorubas which would have been more than enough to push your agenda forward to the national stage. But no, your leader squandered that opportunity by attacking the Yorubas and lost. I wonder why your people don't understand this. You can't attack the Yorubas and be successful in any endeavor, It is impossible.

Yorubas are the reason why Nigeria still stands today.. Take it or leave it.

Despite the huge IGR generated from our states, we don't complain or brag of feeding anyone. Lagos and Ogun remitts the largest revenue to Nigeria, followed by the Niger Delta region despite having Oil in large quantities.

Let Yorubas start a movement like IPOB for Oduduwa republic and see if Nigeria won't tremble. All your Obi, Sultan and Emirs in the North will come begging.

It has haplened before during Abiola when the West went wild. They had to beg us with presidency. Just let us get tired of this union and I bet it that most tribes in Nigeria will go poor and hungry

Only a Yoruba person with your sense of purpose shall be gladdened with the present outlook of today's Nigeria. Nigeria is a silly joke.

There is nothing that scare the Yari.ba stocks more than disintegration of Nigeria. If a person mentions the phrase, disintegration of Nigeria, the generations of Yari.ba people go into frenzy of mental instability.

Of course, there's a very little difference between Detroit and New York. There's a little difference between Baltimore and Chicago, there's a little difference between New Jersey and Dallas.
I want you to go and tell people in Detroit or Baltimore that the difference between their city and Los Angeles or Dallas is little. Not to mention the US hintertland which sometimes look like a different country compared with the major cities.
You are lying by saying everywhere in the US is equally developed. Not so.

The problem is with how Nigeria is structured. Yorubas did not create the problem. In fact, it was an iboman who started it. The three regions on which Nigeria was founded did not go cap in hand to Lagos to beg for money. Each region made their own money and developed at its own pace. That was until Nzeogwu and Ironsi and you know the rest.

Yorubas developed Benin Republic. Major towns there are occupied by Yorubas of Ajase, Popo & Sabe. These are Yoruba indigenes from Oduduwa.

As for Southwest and North are developing at the detriment of other regions, it's a fallacy. Share your points

SW economy is the 5th largest in Africa.

Nearly all the investment $s entering Nigeria goes to the SW.

They also have Lagos as their crown jewel.

Nigeria or no Nigeria really doesn't matter to the SW because either way, they are benefiting are not only benefiting, their leaders are smart enough to keep bringing in and cornering investments and also building and expanding infrastructures while other regions are preoccupied with unproductive issues.

I can't believe the op asked this question. Dude have you ever been to benin republic where yorubas are. You realize the clowning you guys do to yoruba regarding their so called "cities" excluding lagos is a huge reflection of how they'll be like by themselves. Porto novo is one of the worst capital cities I've ever been in my life. Let me even be real, it is the worst capital I've ever be and mind you I've been to ethiopia addis ababa. Addis Ababa is not that bad at all. Anyway, the level of underdevelopment in porto novo is ridiculous. The week I went to aberdeen village in sierra Leone and I learned that people living there are yoruba; is the day i learned all the "most developed, most sophisticated, most blah blah" yoruba says is nothing but a whole of horse shit. Visiting their siblings outside of Nigeria showed me exactly wtf yorubas would be like if not for Nigeria. Nigeria is their saving grace and they know it hence they are desperate to hold onto it like North is. The only difference is the North is trutful about their inability but yorubas with their delusional grandiose will self accrediate themselves titles they pulled out of their ass.
Dude visit Porto Novo if you truly want to see Yoruba capacity with out the thievery and highly dependency they have on Nigeria pocket. they have the exact same thing yoruba in Nigeria boost of is their resources and advantages. Literally if you want to see yoruba capacity, go to porto novo. Quote me on this: you'll be extremely shocked.

Lastly another reason yoruba are desperate for one Nigeria is because again Nigeria is their saving grace. Have you read their history? Prior to Nigeria, this people were slaughtering eachother. Go and read why their obas actually begged the British to come and colonize them. When Nigeria seperates, they'll go back to that same behavior. They barely even hide it while in Nigeria. I mean during election, they assassinate eachother for nothing, all because of an election. Nigeria is the reason they haven't wiped themselves of the face of the earth
