I think u are in cohoots with ur husband. Many folks create profiles and wait to get their ECAs or Trfs before submitting. This thing makes the pool bloated with fake people, they decline and kill other real swimmers' chances. Since ur CRS score is high, chill for ur ECA to come home. If u refuse, which ECA report will u use to go into eAPR? I think next draws will be 3rd, 17th and 31st January 2018..so why d rush? Guys with 390 sef dey wait with hope... fantababy: 7 Likes |

But by the time we all decide to create profiles and ECA /IELTS is not ready, but you get ITA and decline, thereby reducing chances of people who actually have completed ECA & IELTS. Why not just wait.... Let us not be stumbling blocks to others, as we would not want others to block us too. 16 Likes |

Hmm, so much frays since Christmas....I read and read and laughed and laughed. @ Vcole, you are right, nobody dares post something that seems illegal on that thread, in fact it was so intense that whenever I referred people to the thread I would tell them to come back to me with their questions lest the elders come for them. @ Mcstan, may I humbly request that you modify and delete that your post about formulating your TRF numbers and those people that posted about formulating ECA number should modify the post. Let's look at this issue from another angle....I understand that most of us have had to hustle for what we have in life and it has become second nature to us to always be in 'hustle mode', however, these things we are promoting are the same reasons we all want to leave this country. It is unfortunate that this is the only way we know how to live, we do not know how to wait, it's not our fault, we just don't know it. When you are on a queue in developed countries, you must not go close to the person being served because you need to give the customer his/her own privacy, I have gotten that look of disgust from the person being served before, I simply didn't know how things were meant to be because this was not the life I was used to. When you try to shunt queues, the average oyinbo man will ask you to go ahead thinking there is an emergency, yet in this country, I have been at an ATM with my tummy protruding and round with child, a man came and thought it was proper to use the machine before me. The average American would stand up if a pregnant woman is approaching the bus station. These are cultural differences we must all understand, so when we chastise people for impatience, we need to understand where they are coming from, that way they will not see us as 'harsh'. It is the only life we know. The question my spouse asks me is 'with all our hurry in Nigeria, how far have we gone?'. We use cars to chase pedestrians from the road, Oyinbo man will wait patiently while you cross, yet are we more comfortable than them? @ Fantababy, seriously Oyinbo man will not be able to comprehend why you entered the pool without an ECA. Therefore, consequences might be grave. On the issue of oga insisting, please find a way to resolve this without fight, you might even tarry on the documentations coming from your side to give him time to re-consider. @ Canadianfly, what is obvious to you may not be obvious to others, I had to assimilate this before my life became easier ( I just could not deal , I used to feel like breaking heads) . If we all thought and acted exactly the same way, everyone would be rich and successful, then who would be poor? How would the rich amass their wealth given that they get rich from doing business with people who are not as savvy as they are? The world is not perfect, so there must be poor and unsuccessful people, if you talk from now till tomorrow, some people will still not get it or will simply refuse to agree with you****rolls eyes and heaves a sigh. @Kunmi5, please hold on in giving advice to people. Maybe we should wait till you have COPR or provide 'documentary evidence' that you have read and digested the thread before you do. Where is the person that wanted to set exam for you sef? Please come and set his exam. You are allowed to use the search engine in getting the answers....this is on a lighter note. 34 Likes |

Getting in the pool used to be a lot harder especially when it was compulsory to register with job bank. A lot of people missed ITA even when they had everything ready. I know of someone that had to wait a year before getting ITA cos he missed ITA by few hours and cut off did not drop to his score again for another one year. If he had been in the pool before then, he would not have been in that situation. Also, currently your time of entry into the pool matters. However, I won't advise someone to get into the pool when your IELTS scores are yet to be out and you are not sure of the completion of your ECA within one week. If one however decides to go into the pool and keep rejecting ITAs, it can be termed selfish but I dont think it is a fraud. Bsbabe: 2 Likes |

Okay guys, let sheath our swords and allow peace reign. Its my brithday today and I don't like the atmosphere in the room... .. on a lighter note, I finally entered into the pool only to be told I am no longer eligible for EE. I think I must have entered some wrong information somewhere; I suspect my work history as the come to canada tool asks for maximum experience in one occupation only but mine cuts across 3 NOCs for the last 10 years. If I go beyond that, then I can get the max in one NOC but the problem with that is I can't get reference for those periods as the companies have closed and the staff have been retired...hmmm Anyway, let me go to the links page again and review before coming to ask my question.. .... 5 Likes |

mamacajah:I don't think that's the problem. I may be wrong but to the best of my knowledge as long as you have up to 1 continuous full year in one NOC then you should be okay. Try to check all the questions again. |

mosbiod: Let me explain...I have worked for several contractor companies since 2000. I can't even remember all their names as it was in warri and quite a long time ago. I was going to do the supervisor card reference method or worst case scenario, affividavit for this as a last resort. The main office has changed management and even shut down, all the staff I worked with then are either retired or left the company. So I am able to get reference for work done between 2007 to 2016. At least, that meets the maximum CIC EE requirement. abi? |

mamacajah: Yes, as long as you can get up to 3 years work experience reference letter, you have the same CRS score for your 15 or more years work experience.. but I am thinking the issue here would be age (if you have been working since 2000, then that's about 17 years work experience and for some one to have this long years of work experience, then ............), maybe you should consider PNP if your age permits and depending on the province Good Luck 1 Like |
