Argument of some people here in defense of Mourinho is just annoying. Mourinho is just a dumbass, kiss the truth! He's deluded and looking for flimsy excuse to bail himself out. Who would say £300Million isn't enough to assemble a wining team? Useless mofo! He lacks good tactics and football intelligence. All he knows is his defensive way and he's such a dumbass that has refused to change. I could remember in one of City's matches, there was a little pressure on the team and the defenders started volleying the ball but Pep shout at him and asked him to play the ball the down. They listened to him, got their composure back and won the match in styles. That's an example of a coach that has a philosophy and intelligence and stick to it because he believes. I also think one of Mourinho's undoings is that he talks too much and this makes him to lose focus. Earlier this season when City was struggling everybody said many things against Pep; criticized his tikitaka philosophy, but rather than being distracted, he kept his focus and never blame anybody. He believed in his philosophy and kept to it. There's no excuse for Mourinho. He's a failure and deserve to be kicked out of United if the club wants to move forward without destroying their brand. 9 Likes |

Transfer Rumor Manchester United are keen to sign Juventus' attacking midfielder Paulo Dybala in a £60m deal, the Daily Star reports. The paper says Jose Mourinho is "desperate" to sign a new number 10 with Juan Mata and Henrikh Mkhitaryan having failed to make their mark at Old Trafford. |

"I have something in my head but I cannot tell you. This is my tenth season in England. Except for the very first at Manchester, I only knew good times. "I'm still here. If Manchester did not want me anymore, they would have said that for a long time. They made a proposal, probably one will follow. "Whether I will accept it I do not know. You cannot arrange something like that in a jiffy. We [with Jose] talked about it. The coach is someone who respects the decisions of his players." - MAROUANE FELLAINI |

Comparing Man United's spending to City's: does Mourinho have a point? MOURINHO vs. GUARDIOLA The key line from Mourinho's post-Burnley press conference was that the money he has spent on his United team is "not enough" to properly challenge City. It seems like a strange thing to say given that almost every other manager would love to have United's budget to splurge on players. Still, Mourinho is only talking about United vs. City and in that context, he is right that Guardiola has spent more. Since taking over at the Etihad Stadium in 2016, Guardiola has spent £361.1m on 12 players. Over the same span, Mourinho has spent £286.3m on seven players. It would have been eight had he signed Ivan Perisic in the summer like he wanted. United broke the world record when they signed Paul Pogba for £89.3m in 2016 and splashed £75m on Romelu Lukaku last summer. The rest, though, have all been around the £30m mark while Zlatan Ibrahimovic was free (at least in terms of transfer fees). City, meanwhile, have paid between £40m and £50m for five players since Guardiola arrived. Over the same period, United have recouped £51m (primarily from the sales of Memphis Depay and Morgan Schneiderlin) while City banked £79.5m from offloading the likes of Edin Dzeko, Kelechi Iheanacho and Wilfried Bony. MOURINHO's GRIPE As well as saying he has not had enough money, Mourinho also made mention of City "buying full-backs for the price of strikers," a reference to City spending £120.8m on Kyle Walker, Benjamin Mendy and Danilo in the summer. What will annoy Mourinho most, though, is not the fees but the fact that Guardiola got what he wanted. City initially tried to haggle with Tottenham over Walker but ended up paying £45 million -- close to the full asking price -- because Guardiola made it clear how important he would be this season. By contrast, sources have told ESPN FC that United refused to meet Inter Milan's price for Perisic. Mourinho was clear he wanted four new signings in the summer but only got three. Of those, only two (Lukaku and Nemanja Matic) have been able to go straight into the team. It is not the first time this season that Mourinho has referenced money. Asked for his thoughts after a 2-0 home win over Benfica in the Champions League in October, he replied: "We score two goals we didn't concede. Three more points, which makes 12. More money for the club because every victory means money." It seemed like an odd thing to say but the inference was that if he is doing his bit to bring money in, he should also be allowed to spend it. THE END PRODUCT City have spent more than United over the last 18 months but the numbers, £360m compared to £280m, are comparable. It's just that City's spending has had more of an impact. The United team that started Boxing Day's 2-2 against Burnley included seven players that Mourinho inherited. Playing West Brom before Christmas, United fielded an entire back-five left behind by Sir Alex Ferguson. The City team Guardiola fielded against Tottenham the same weekend contained eight players brought in over the past three summers. In the five years since Ferguson retired, United have spent £609.5m on 22 players. Louis van Gaal brought in 13, of which six have already left. Mourinho can at least be happy that the majority of his signings seem to have paid off. The jury is still out on Henrikh Mkhitaryan and Victor Lindelof but the rest have been successes. Mourinho will argue that he just needs more. http://kwese.espn.com/football/club/manchester-united/360/blog/post/3326681/man-united-spending-vs-man-city-does-jose-mourinho-have-right-to-complain?src=com 1 Like |

"He’s [Mourinho] one that type of stuff as a manager throughout his career [cautious approach in matches against his direct rivals]. "He's been very successful doing it this way. I had this conversation with Sir Alex last week, and he can't see him changing because if you’re successful this way, why would you want to change?" - DWIGHT YORKE |

I bet you, if he were plying his trade in the EPL, then a different tune would be sung about him. Meanwhile, I don't make silly assertions. BlueAngel444:Apart from Walker, Pep has not really used any of his new signings. He lost Mendy early in the season. Most of them are subs. His success was playing De Bruyne and Silva in midfield. Mou should learn from him rather than complain. He complains a lot and that is very sickening. All he does is blame others, blame everyone except himself. |

Sky sources understand that the fee for Virgil Van Dijk will be £75m, which would be a world record for a defender. -------------------------------------------------- If Liverpool could pay £75m to sign a Defender, then United Board should be ready to splash Pounds on JM main Targets. |

dubylhover: Liverpool is silently building a formidable Team for next Season. Van Dijk will join in January, you and I know he's a top Defender and definitely gonna be an upgrade on all the present Liverpool Defenders. Kaita will join his Team Mates in the summer, and no doubt he's a talented Lad. A very good Midfielder. If more Additions are made, and Coutinho eventually opts to stay, I fear for United next Season with the current Bricklayers we are parading as Players. |

Oasis007:Bros, I officially joined the Mourinho Out bandwagon after the Man City game. See eh, he doesn't have the sense to identify where issues are and address them accordingly. We have issues with set-piecez, and we parade tall players in every department. See the two goals city scored against us, check out Leicester's and burnley's second goals. Upfront, the short ones don't know how to accurately and effectively cross the ball, and the tall ones don't know how to head the ball. And we have a fuvking manager! How can you be ultra defensive against teams like Southampton, Leicester, etc and the team is worth over 300m pounds?? It doesn't make sense. We have the players, but we don't have a talented and reasonable manager, simples! We have a manager that can only defend, depend on luck to score, lose, whine, come up with excuses every fuvking time, rinse and repeat! |

larride:Your argument is so flawed. Damn! Are you saying all world class players are on the same level? Gosh! Is Ronaldo not world class? Is Messi not world class? Is Neymar not world class? But are they all in the same level? Mehn, you dey fall your hand big time. By your logic then, if Neymar is world class, Messi should be Super world class, abi? Smh for you. Now, back to the nitty-gritty. You people sometimes misjudge people, especially rating someone because of their past exploits alone. Yes, being tagged world class shouldn't be a one season wonder thing. It should be that you've consistently performed at a high level for 2 or more seasons. No? Now, since Umtiti came to Barça, till this present day, while also taking cognizance of his Euro 2016 exploits, you still think he hasn't performed at a high level? Umtiti has been Barça's best defender since his first season. Yes, I said so and will defend it anywhere. Pique is good no doubt, but Umtiti is just a revelation and anyone with eyes would attest to this claim of mine. Infact, it's no rocket science. Every Barça fan knows this. Now, is Pique not world class? And yet Umtiti is Barça's best defender. That should put things into perspective. Meanwhile, I'll drop a screenshot of Whoscored ratings between Umtiti and Ramos for your kind perusal. It's not all about hype bruv. It's about doing the thing. 1 Like
