Write2018:we have really suffered in the hands of Americans. We have to write a letter of offer and the Americans will have to do shakara and maybe demand to be lobbied in order to accept selling to us on top our own money. The same Americans gave Egypt f15s when terrorists attacked Egypt earlier this year but considered Nigeria unworthy of f15s. Instead of us to look inward,no matter how small,we can start developing jet fighters even if by copying and refurbishing American jets. At this time, imitation, copying and whatever method will be welcomed. Even with our money, americans are dictating what we could buy and what we couldn't buy as if they are the only ones selling weapons. I believe Americans also help Boko haram by selling weapons, intelligence and media support through amnesty international. They are simply making money out of our misery. This is the truth 1 Like |

why should Nigeria buy a propeller driven jet A-29 super tucano... while they can build one themselves... with A turbo jet engine.... when I saw that they jet had a propeller I was greatly disappointed... they top speed is kinda limited very low .. and then I don't know how they would be able to evade a missile .. |

brainpulse: [Embraer EMB-314 Super Tucano (A-29) Trainer / Counter-Insurgency / Light Attack / Armed Reconnaissance Aircraft] is good, have a look at it! https://www.militaryfactory.com/aircraft/detail.asp?aircraft_id=718 Sir, the qualms in this contract that we glowingly want to praise without due diligence is that these 12 aircrafts are ex-USAF planes that have seen better days. Must we always buy "tokunbo " when less endowed nations like Afghanistan are going for new platforms? Before long, these birds would start dropping from the Skies even with the best of maintenance putting our husbands at the cruel end of another book harm decapitation video. |

Cannonleo: Thanks for the update. Hopefully they will let it be accessible to the populace or few selected 3rd party public individual to check if they are new or not. Or better still the press for confirmation. These is an annual cultural practise for the force families and public in the US. |

brainpulse:Shut up! Do you think that buying scraps os tge best way to fight oil bunkering? Why not work with the guys in the ND, train and register them, then covert to refineries into mini and efficient refineries? Too many stupid people in nigeria (starting from the president), As for boko Haram, the Alpha jets tgat have jet engines are almost useless let alone a turbo prop. Common sense is not common. |

dometome:and now to can now see why USA can not sell you a fighter craft.it sold you tucano for the fight against boko haram and here you are you have diverted their use to increase tensions in the Niger Delta region. Boko haram which is totally your problem affecting 3 states with additional states such as kano, bauchi, plateau, kogi.it will take a miracle for the USA to sell such fighter jets with such thinking |

Adminisher:Lol my dear...Other countries pilot are busy flying modern fighter jet and you are busy claiming best pilot in alpha and super tucano's..Both are relic of world war 2 and vietnam war.. Will our pilots b crippled if they are given F-16,F-22 or Tornado or Su variants fighter jets? all these are modern n far better than that nonsense that u r celebrating..Tucanos are ground attack plane dat is an easy target for anti-aircraft gun wich is readily available in terrorist armoury |
