A young man identified as Isreal oluranti, a 21-year-old man, has been kept in the police custody by operatives of the Ogun State Police Command for reportedly stabbing his friend, Farooq olusegun to death.

According to the police spokesperson, Abimbola oyeyemi, who narrated what transpired base on his confirmation said the ugly incident occurred at Ope-Ilu part of Agbado in Ifo Local Government Area of the State. An argument sprang up between the two dear friends over a missing phone on the 25th Day of December.

“This infuriated the suspect, consequent upon which he took one of the beer bottles around, broke it and stabbed the deceased on the chest,” Mr. Oyeyemi added.

He said the victim was quickly rushed to a nearby hospital but died in the way.
