I remember telling a colleague that this show has the potential to surpass Vikings... he laughed in my face. A year passed, and he's now raving about it more than I ever did.

Before I start, Merry Christmas to everyone.

What show do you refuse to watch or couldn't get into because of a petty reason? I have loads, and before I cross over into the new year, I'ma get them off my chest.

- First one is South Park. Don't get me wrong. I know the show's hilarious and whatnot, but at first, the inability of the characters to move the damn legs triggered me so much that I put off watching it for as long as possible.

- Stranger Things because I normally don't like child actors. They're either sh*t or playing an irritating role - so I generally refuse to watch things where kids are the leads. Don't judge me, I'm petty like that.

- The Exorcist. Couldn't watch it because it's a broadcast network show. Finally caved in last 2 months or thereabouts, because I read somewhere that the plot is connected to the original movie. Turns out it's an okay watch after all. Still not sure I will be watching the 3rd season if/when it becomes available, because... FOX.

- I couldn't get into Persons Of Interest because I hate the lead actor. I couldn't stand how he talks: low mumble, barely moving his lips and his face frozen in that solemn expression.

- I couldn't watch Jane The Virgin because of the CW. No further explanation needed.

- Riverdale. I used to love Archie comics growing up and the idea it's a teen drama now makes me sick to my stomach. Why does CW has to ruin everything?

- 13 Reasons Why. Some people would say they don't like this show because of the way it glorifies suicide and bullying. Meh. I'm a simple guy, I don't like to over-complicate issues. If it's an HBO production and those teen leads are replaced with adults, I would have watched the hell out of that show. I hate teen dramas.

- All DC Super hero shows. CW is to be blamed here.

- Big Bang Theory. I couldn't get into it because of the frigging laugh tracks. I don't like comedies with laugh tracks.

- Van Helsing. I was gonna give this show a try because I love the movie, but then I read that the titular character's name was Vanessa Helsing. I found that utterly disgusting that I refuse to watch it. From the recent reviews, I don't think I'm missing out at all.

I thought i liked Action, crime and the likes but i've come to love series irrespective of genre but it just needs to have some edge and not just the reglar interesting movies. Here are examples of series that i like, so i'll be grateful if you guys can suggest other that fit the bill.
