I had similar issue some time ago and a restart solved it. I guess you are on MIUI 9

U sure the phone ur friend came with is the original s7edge? Because s7 camera beat one plus 5 camera especially in low light. In dxo 1+5 score 87 while s7 score 88 for camera

But he is speaking from experience na and the pictures might not be taken in a low light condition.

there roms are not Chinese roms but global, u should check very well, oppo uses colorOS while vivo uses Funtouch OS, i don't know if they have China rom like xioami but I know there roms are for all, expecially for Indian market

not much difference spec wise between op5 n op 5t....major diff is the bigger screen n ratio. not regretting my op5, only regret is not getting the 8gb/128gb variant.....hv barely 18gb free space in my 6gb/64gb op 5
