This cute little creature harasses me everyday with its barking. But you get close to it and it runs away.

My neighbor's dog does the same. Always at the gate to bark at me grin

Lol, that's normal, since you looked strange.

Take one of your leisure time and ask to walk one day, and see how she would always be looking for you to come again.

That's what made most of neighbours like my then GSD

@dupsyshoo Please, did you have your Bachelor's degree in Nigeria before moving to the Uk and also how many years of working experience did you have before leaving? Thanks

PLEASE complete the Auto mechanic training and if you can add carpentry / furniture making + barbing + electrician to it then if you decide to relocate to the UK at least you don't have to put up with any bad employer as you will have 4 seperate skills than can earn you a comfortable wage with the benefit of being self employed.

Some plumbers and carpenters here earn £120 per hour.

Handwork pays well here.

For ladies hairdressing is a nice way to earn money right in the comfort of their homes.

thanks so much.. really appreciate your advice.. well, in terms of relocation.. I prefer the US to the UK (not anytime soon thou, cos nobody knows what tomorrow holds). I'm just considering how paying and lucrative Auto mechanic is compared to IT job . cos I believe we are in IT world. .. Also I don't know how applicable the IT profession is to the Automotive industry.

so bothered.

You people should stop insulting your country, we're great in our own way.

Truthfully, the said person amongst others, were derailing the thread and that's why I kept redirecting them to a "general living in the UK discussion thread".

Also nothing is stopping him from opening a new thread where he could discuss his own topic of interest, share his own experience and post whatever.

Moving on...

Just joking oo. No trick to it, those examiners are like hawks.. You just have to jot down your instructions and memorise them like a robot. Having said that, I did it 3 times.

Hehehehheheheheeh. Shame dey catch me to comment initially.

I also took the test thrice and passed at my third attempt.

I’m sure I must have spent close to £1500 on lessons if not more.

I agree with you about writing down instructions. It was only when I did so and would ‘revise’ before the start of the lesson did my driving actually improve.

Bros. It was so painful going for driving lessons and trying to fit it with work. Once you fail, you start afresh. Maybe cos I did manual cos I didn't want to restricted to auto. I spent like £1k altogether.
