The truth is if someone has no role model in their families, it would be assumed that every woman/man is same as the women/men in their families.
You can't give what you don't have.
It's like a woman calling a man she doesn't know a dog. If the men around her all act like dogs, she would naturally assume all men are dogs. Same as for a man surrounded by prostitutes as family members, all women both known and unknown will be assumed to be prostitutes.
