Igbo takes the defects in his own society as a view lens from which it sees everyone else. So if it considers its dark skinned women as defects and ugly....everywhere else he encounters a society that glorifies dark skinned woman he sees it as an abnomaly and regards that people as ugly. They fail to see that there is a defect internally in their own society and its view and treatment of women of dark skin.

Even igbo parents put prime value on their light skin girls when asking for bride price. A weird people!
