@TheCongo2....Have been observing your comments on issues raised in this thread...And It seems you kind of support some intending illegal immigrants to package their visa application or how they will process their stay which I believe you know their wrong intention. Remember application packaging is not encouraged on this forum. Let's help people to do the right thing. I stand to be corrected o! 1 Like |

Your brother is purely abusing the visa granted to him. It an issue to be sorted out in the family whether to stay or come back. Alot of genuine applicants are denied visas because of this act of abuse. Julify13: |

Re: USA Visit Visa Part 3 by LadyGuinivere: 6:33am On Dec 31, 2017 |
Julify13:Please what do you mean by" stay away from the wrong crowd " and "out of status" He has no status . He is illegal. Probably this is what otunoba was referring to. Julify, fortunately this is a public thread. That means anyone is free to express an opinion once you have posted. If you do not like the feedback you may choose any variation of options but I do not think telling folks not to reply is one of them 1 Like |

Go to the previous appointment and remove your passport number. Edit it and insert any passport number because the system recognize your passport number has been used in another profile. Afterward create your own profile with your passport number. ote author=Martmec post=63750887]Pls, house i need help. a mistake was made in the name section when scheduling an interview, the person mistakenly input her name instead of mine but she already had her visa bfore then, all efforts to change it proved abortive,,, so i proceeded to the embassy on the day of the interview but wasn't allowed to enter because of that error. tried all i could, still. So i refilled another form, paid another fee but when i was about to schedule the appointment, i was told that my details match the one in their database. help a sister, am so furious. i hv written to them on several ocassions to cancel the first one so that i can proceed with this one, but it isn't working.[/quote] |

LadyGuinivere: Take it easy. How did you come to the conclusion that he has no status? From op's post, nothing indicates he had overstayed. It seems to me that only a selected few " gurus" can answer questions on this thread. The rest of us are set only to post questions. Any outsider who attempts to answer a question will automatically become a threat who would steal the spotlight of the gurus .. lol Anyway, I am on vacation in Montreal and there has been so much snow outside and I have been unable to go out. That is why I have been spending time on this thread trying to contribute what I can. Little did I know that I was stepping on someone's territory. I am returning to work in few days, so I will seldom be on here again 11 Likes |

So working with visiting visa is not an illegal status... Abi? Even the poster you are encouraging her mother violated UK visiting visa where she ended up spending 4 months inside of 2 weeks. So e dey their blood. Nothing will stop us.... We shall always say the truth. Let your conscience judge you TheCongo2: |
Re: USA Visit Visa Part 3 by TheCongo2: 7:42am On Dec 31, 2017 |
OtunOba15: For one, I never encourage him to work on a visiting visa. Second, if he does work with visiting visa, it means he is working illegally. That doesn't mean he is out of status. As far as I know been out of status means the person is still living in a territory after the expiratipn of the period he was authorized to stay by the immigration. My conscience is clean. I can never advocate illegal immigration 11 Likes |

oludharey:Sorry about the refusal. I dont know what you indicated as your income on your DS-160 because the main questions seemed to revolve around finance. I am guessing that the VO was trying to get an idea of your wife's income and probably wondering why she isn't supporting the trip since she also works. Also you earlier mentioned that your intended trip was two days after your interview. I don't know if you filled a new DS-160 with a new travel date. You could also travel out to another country for this Vacation and get the travel experience. Good luck. |

Gregi2017:I've seen two recent cases like that on this forum. Here's one case https://www.nairaland.com/1792662/u.s-non-immigrant-visas-listening/220#63663910 If you haven't done so already you can check your visa status at https://ceac.state.gov/ceacstattracker/status.aspx |

TheCongo2:Dude I'm only replying to correct your assumption. I ENCOURAGE free speech. I DISCOURAGE anyone or anything that can promote illegality. I have never laid claims to being a 'guru'. Heaven knows where that term came from or found its way here. I rarely post these days because most questions pertain to what the posters can easily find if they read the thread so Werrin concern me if folks answer questions? That's the purpose of this thread. 1 Like |

Chibabe4Christ:If you know your want to go for medical, then by all means state it so. That simply means u have to research, get a hospital, have funds available ET Al. Not that much different from gynae cases. Yes. If you apply for vacation and end up doing medical stuff you may run into issues either at POE or renewal. Ps: I'm not a guru'. Just my opinion based on stuff I have read over the past 7 years on these forums. I cannot speak on chances. However my friend after being refused a UK visa got a US visa with her husband the next week. Though if the reason for refusal is misrepresentation, then it may affect bearing in mind that both countries share details when it pleases them |

LadyGuinivere:Lol. The GURU thing comes from the mentality that one needs to hail properly in order to get expert advice. Totally unnecessary but...... I say this laughing...... To ladyg and all the other GURUs, the GURU hailing is prepayment for services rendered on this forum. Please kindly accept it as a willful offering from the bottom our hearts. 6 Likes |

To know if you have strong ties, ask yourself these questions. - do you have a job? - do you have a family? - have you travelled out of the country? - do you have good finances? My advise, don't apply yet. Build up your profile and then apply. There will be lots of Easters to travel to the US and you don't actually need an invitation letter. francophone134: 1 Like |

As long as you are an adult, you will be judged based on your own merit. There is no advantage to going along with a group for an interview, in fact it might even invite tougher scrutiny. olasanni: 1 Like |

LadyGuinivere: Sorry my dear if I have offended you in anyway. I had been following you from the time you opened those threads and I must admit that tou are one of the people I admire the most on Nairaland. Your moniker "LadiGuinivere" sounds French. Chibabe4Christ: The form to fill is online on the embassy website. It's called a ds160 I don't have a link. That's where research comes into play. You shouldn't sit and wait for a link. You know where you wanna go To. Start from there. Search for doctors in that area code or near, putting in consideration transportation cost and time. Check the websites and get the doc's nos or email. Get a quote and letter from them. Though this is not part of what u asked, getting gynae care in the US in my opinion ain't all that and it's expensive for no reason. I once paid 36k naira for an ultrasound scan. Hisssss Greece and India is much affordable 2 Likes |
