shocked shocked oh wow!! Seriously? Thank u so much for your advice. I knew I had to seek some advise here first to know what to do. You were of great help.
Berliner1:

Firstly, Go and read the contract sent to you by that school.

There's a refund policy there.

Have handle somethibg like this in the past. But becareful dont notify the school your plan yet. They are private institution with profit motive.

Read the contract you signed first and the refund policy.

Look at the duration for refund, and the general refund stuff.

Dont try to tell them u are refuse visa because they will request for a proof which can easily be verified.

Speaking from experience and legal point of view.

My mom applied for a multiple entry visa for the purpose of visiting us and also for some business she will be doing later on. I didn't do the language course in Lagos because I can't stay there for a long period of time, I don't have a home there. The visa I and my sister applied for is a student visa.

My mom spoke to someone who suggested that we send emails to the embassy reminding them of our application and letting them know that our program begins on the 8th of January, do you think this is a good idea?
Okay

It's a known fact that language visa is hard to get cause the embassy feels like the language course could be done at Goethe Lagos

I don't think it's a good idea to email them. They don't appreciate getting emails while they are still processing your visa.

You could contact your language school in Germany and ask whether you can resume at a later date. That's if you are sure of your visa approval though.

No.

Lower or upper is not the case here.

Good evening guys. I commend everyone who has been commenting , and informing so far. May 2018 bless us all and take us to our desired destination.

Please I'd like to know if it's compulsory to learn German and do the geothe exam before going for interview, considering that the course I'm going for would be taught in English.

Happy 2018 guys.

Thanks for your reply Berliner1 pls some1 told me they can help me procure 100 level transcript from either delsu or uniben pls i would like to knw if u have or seen some experience dat and hw true it is, wether it can be used successfully for the application process and if it won’t backfire on the long run

Thanks as i await ur reply
Hi Sam, Please don't engage yourself in such nefarious act. Buying of transcript is a fraudulent practice, anyone that give you such advice is only looking for a means to extort your money, which will definitely land you into trouble in future . Germans are smarter than you can ever imagine. Verification of authenticity of documents nowadays is very easy due to improvement in internet technology. Your question has been answered, you just need to have 100level or HND transcripts. What you need to do now is to pursue your HND or use your OND to gain direct entry into the university ,then finish and get your certificate and transcripts, and then apply. I think you also have to learn German up to B1 .

Hi Marvin, since your course will be fully taught in English, it's not compulsory for you to learn German. However,it is always advisable to learn German even if it is A1 or A2 just for you to be able to integrate with people in your environment in Germany.

Relax.

There's nothing abnormal in your case.

You applied for visa at the pick period.

Your mum apply for short stay visa while u applied for long stay.

Her visa is determined in lagos while yours is determined here in Germany.

Contact the auslandebehorde of your city for an update. Or tell your mom to visit there if shes already in Germany.after that contact lagos embassy.

Thank you so much, will do that!

Hi empressonassis,
I also had the same issue two weeks back, i picked February for my appointment at the embassy even though i was supposed to resume March also at IUBH but i woke up like every night by 11pm - 12am and got lucky by seeing January. I rebooked immediately. You can also try the same method till mid January hopefully, you would be lucky also.

But, if you really want a refund, just explain to them that you could not get a space, they shouldn't have any reason for withholding since its your money or contact Tgmeducation in Ikeja, they are affiliated with the school, they could be of help.

She's legally binded by the contract she signed.
They is a loop on on thaf contract which can be capitalized on to get refund.

in stead of going through that process, why not get a form in open university and just get a genuine admission and get your 100L transcript.

just my advice

This sounds like a nice idea though it will take 1 full year to accomplish but pls guys in the house is it sure to succesfully gain admission to germany with this method?
Re: General German Student Visa Enquiries Part 4 by Berliner1: 2:17pm On Dec 31, 2017
@Talk2bryant

Dont worry.
Bunch of scammers will send you pm now.
But ask them why are they still in nigeria if they get SL?
If he claim the person is in germany, make sure you have the person direct contact (account number and phone number) incase things go wrong.Ask for refund policy.

Dont let them sweet talk you because you will be sent a clone/fake SL.

Some people are crying in silence now after paying 2k euro.

Speaking from experience.

German visa is not running...dont be vulnerable to scam.

Death is the only sure thing.

The way you post depict your mental strength.

Go and improve your mental capacity and apply after one year.
