it is not about liking them, it is about their believes, you can't hate people because of their believes. otherwise no one will exists or live Amongst each other.

it means, i can stay off work for 8 weeks and they will still pay me, like when i come to naija i stay for 8 weeks they will pay me. even though i am not at work.

and if i am sick for 6 months they will pay me for 6 months even though i am not at work

Good question! by law a company MUST Allow you a holiday wether they like it or not, it is Against the EU/UK Employment law not to allow an employee a holiday, in the case of sickness After seven days of sickness you must provide a sickness certificate from your doctor to prove that you have been sick.

I go to my doctor i fill in a form he/she sign it i take to my manager they pay me for sickness.

by law a company can not make an employee work through out a whole 12 months without a holiday they are not slaves, even if you chose not to take a holiday you maybe forced to do so, As the company would not want to be responsible for your stress at work.
