Pls feel free to draw your conclusions.. however, will it be really hard just to be patient just a few weeks more? We are close to the finish line people. It's not every conspiracy theory that actually requires a response..be anxious for nothing.

Disclaimer ke, if you recieved a call kindly update your profile as soon as possible, the call came from DPR and all i can tell you is congratulations. Government agencies do call their succesful candidates to update and confirm their addresses before they dispatch your APL. Not everything is scam, and to those that didnt recieve any call didnt mean anything, it means their address is intact.

We all need to be careful with the calls and text messages we give attention regarding this recruitment. If I remember clearly, the same thing happened way before the interview where some people got text massages claiming to be from DPR which eventually turned out not to be. Also, we should be careful as regards posting our details e.g phone number on public platforms such as this. ANYONE can use it as he/she deems fit.

No one will offer him a job that he isn't interested in taking, or that he feels he is too good for. Even if you are Albert Einstein, you can't go to an interview with the mindset that you are all high and mighty and your goal is to show the interviewers that they are dumb. Such body language and smugness is your loss. Then why are you job hunting? Luckily this is the civil service, so who knows, good luck to him. In a private organisation I wouldn't call him back. I can't call you to offer you a job you feel (within the fantastic figment of your imagination) that you are too good for, while there are other highly motivated applicants. I can't offer you a job that you feel I should beg you to take. Secondly, such a person may come with a " know it all", "I am better than you" and, "I shouldn't be here with you fools but let me just manage" mindset and be a problem with the existing team(s), even as an experienced hire.

You wonder why some staff are good choices when companies are downsizing.

Even the salaries of coys in the top 100 places to work aren't kept as secret. Must companies would love to flex their salaries so as to attract competent employees. But nah, this is Nigeria, everything is abnormal.

Glassdoor.co.uk is replete with salary scales of the juiciest firms and corporations in the world, and the irony is that the figures are mostly submitted (anonymously) by personnel of such firms in contrast to the position of the person you quoted.

Most times it makes little sense to publicly claim to know what one is unwilling to share. Right now Tamihawtt87's figures are the most valid in the absence of superior information.

She was clear about her source of information which was from the last intake (which invalidates the bolded) but you've provided no source for yours (especially as you've stated you're not yet a DPR employee) so in the absence of superior information on entry level pay like I said, her figures remain the most valid.
