I just wonder why we often have significant cost variation when different agents quote for the same service here. It is normal to have some difference but not expected to be as much as we see sometimes. I want to believe that most of the cost component (duties,govt levies etc) should be standard rates fixed by the govt, and just the agent's service fee should vary depending on profit margin. Perhaps I may be wrong. This is just an observation that I believe will help instill confidence in the quotes shared here...from a customer perspective. Happy New Year guys, keep it up! 2 Likes |

megacontrol:yes theres a standard quote and fix price, but we all know Nigerian we are everyday, it's only Nigeria things change every hour, it's only in Nigeria someone would poor 2017 yesterday and become a millionaire today 1st of 2018 So in all, the fault is usually from government bodies like the customs, I mean agent compromise with customs by making deals so with this quite would be different Normally there's a standard surface duty that's ranging to a particular amount on any importation, but we are all corrupt, to the extent same importer dealer like u are also looking for a way of cutting corners,i think u the dealers importers even support this most Happy new year |
