I have hp windows 10, it's killing me, 10GB gone in 48 hours, bought another and it's gone!, I disabled the update from services under administrative tools. It's even worst when I did that.


Please help, I can't login to work cos I don't want the the remaining 4Gb to run off in an hour. Help help help!

That's one thing I don't like about windows 10, even if you block all those things to reduce the data consumption it will still take more data.

The best thing to do is go back to Windows 8.1

Ok, after so much research, I finally find a solution. I use my phone for tethering and have two USBs, when I change my USB or phone connections it automatically enables the updates again.

So I always disable once I make any change. Since then it's being better. Am still left with over 4gb, I used less than 500mb today even after long time of work.

Anyone here got an idea about the price of a fairly used hp battery?

Before, no matter how low the current is, it will charge as I am using it. But now, I can only use it when the current is full because it will not charge when current falls low.

Unfortunately Na only low current NEPA dey gives us now so I can only use my laptop when I use generator. what could be the cause and what is the solution? The laptop is Toshiba Satellite L500

Why will you want to charge on low current even they always give you low current? Anyway, I'll suggest you try another charger with it first before any other thing.

Since it doesn't display at all, fault might be from the cpu, first culprit should be the RAM.

If you have another one, you can change it

The random shutting down is affecting your hard drive, if care is not taken, it will corrupt the os or probably damage the hard drive.

You laptop needs servicing, I'll advice you take it to a laptop engineer closer to you for proper check up. If you're in lag, you can call or WhatsApp me with the number on my signature.

I'll advice you take it to a phone engineer, screen might be bad.

I bought a new charger thinking it was the problem but it was the same thing.

The charger might not be getting the required voltage to charge your laptop.

You can't say the low voltage was charging it before and not charging it again cos you can't just guess the voltage the low current is giving.

In fact I'll advice you stop charing with low current.

I brought out my Compaq mini laptop today after leaving it for some time only to be reminded of the reason I dumped it in the first place: I upgraded it to windows 8 from 7 but later found out the resolution was stuck at 1024*600 and it couldn't go higher thereby causing apps to be slow or not being able to open at all. Pls guys,how do I tweak it to increase the resolution? I've tried a lot and none has worked. Even the PES10 game installed is very slow. I need help
