MrMcJay: True. 2. The gap between the developed parts of Nigeria and the underdeveloped parts would be further widened. Someone in Abuja is afraid of what Onitsha, Nnewi, Aba, Agbara, Ikeja Industrial Estate or Lagos would look like with constant electricity. No, it means that most parts of Nigeria get developed more. And am sure the industrial areas of JOS, KANO, KADUNA would be happy. As well as Zaria, and Niger State too.... 3. Nigerians' spendings on Petroleum products like diesel and gasoline would reduce. This means lesser profits for Oando, Conoil, NNPC Mega Stations, Capital Oil, etc. These guys are some of the largest contributors to elections. True...though they could make more profit with deregulation...regardless of light. |

In my area, the residents don't know the difference between when there's power supply and when there's none as its always total darkness. We've always been in darkness even before the blackout. |
