I have been reading for a long time and this as been disturbing me but I need to let it out 2018.

I'm a young dude under 30's. I have been to the 4 angles of Africa and Middle East (North Africa, South Africa and East Africa). To my little conclusion, I would say West Africa as a whole is lagging behind too much. On this thread, I have been reading for quite 18 months. No doubts.. I agree with when you're filling a visa form fill the truth. It helps a lot. I also support the point that never misuse your visa. Be a good citizen and don't tarnish your integrity.

There are many intelligent people on here I must commend and I really appreciate your IQ. GOD BLESS YOU ALL...

Most Nigerians I meet and the ones that criticize here are just privileged to have the visas. You got nothing special. Respect is reciprocal. Nigerians are just too proud and they don't have anything... All they know how to do is brag on trashing stuff (EMPTY VESSELS). I have met people from other part of the world and when I talk to them, they show that respect and talk to you in a manner that you feel relaxed. It makes me feel good and relate more better with non Nigerians because they feel all humans have the same right to do whatever you want. Nigerians just love to live the fake life. So annoying.

I have come to conclusion that if you have a visa and you want to misuse it. go ahead and do it... if you don't want to misuse it, good for you... You have limited time to live in this crazy world... why would you want to suffer all your life in this Nigeria that the leaders are not ready to change. I don't believe any leader in this country because all they want it for their pocket only... same as people who have the privilege to have visas on here.. They talk like they are the best and others that get denied won't get it... You can never stop racism in this world...

The VO respects everyone. Despite you lie to them, they would never abuse or make you feel awkward about it... They also feel your pains in this place.

Hello guys, I got a visa to US last year November, and I want to leave naija by March this year,i once was nearly denied my journey to Ethiopia one time because I didn't have up-to 100 dollars with me so I had to run out of the airport, asked friends to transfer cash to my account which I changed to dollars before the airline allowed me to travel, I later learnt that's called BTA... please I need to know how much I should at least have this time am running to United States so I will not encounter such a disgrace...

I was asked same question(do you have anyone in the US?) and my answer was not at all but my trip is to be sponsored by my organisation... In the end I was issued visa... I think they pay attention to confidence than the visa proper..I made them ask me personal questions too... Keep trying guys, God will shower you with blessings

If you had your interview late last year I think your visa should be ready tomorrow so go and collect it by Friday.

On one hand you encourage people to misuse their visa (if they choose to) knowing that it may hamper the chances of other genuine applicants getting Visas and the other hand you accuse the leaders of not caring for its followers.
Did you stop to think that maybe, just maybe the leaders are also living by your newfound ideology of "having limited time in the crazy world" hence just amassing wealth for their own and immediate generations' use and not caring for the next person? The rot we see in Nigeria today is quite deep rooted, even down to the common man on the street. If we want change for Nigeria we need to start from the root. If the followers begin to understand what is right and wrong and make conscious effort to abide by them then can they demand same treatment from the leaders. Then Nigeria would be great again and we won't have millions of people fraudulently trying to migrate to other countries.

Wait until you are put in jail at the POE cos you are carrying a Nigerian passport (like LadyG) or denied a conference visa that's supposed to enhance your career because the VO has seen too many fraudulent conference visa applications and assumes yours is as well then you might begin to understand why people here are trying to discourage illegal migration and fraudulent applications.

The US consulate has the duty to screen out travellers. They determine who should get a visa and who shouldn't. Then, the CBP does the same thing at the POE. The CBP determines who should be let into the US and who shouldn't. As for you, who are you?

You have been accusing a lot of people on this thread of trying to immigrate illegally to the States? For the most part, you can't substantiate those accusations. Have you received the executive power from the US gouvernement to screen out travellers ? If not then it is very unfortunate for you to harass complete strangers

Take a look on the VO's thread to see the difference. The vo's are very professional and they don't bellittle anyone. They answer all the questions without any form of mockery or insult. In addition to that, they are paid by the US government. Why can't you follow their behaviors ?

Nigerians get it all wrong... Deep down your heart.... we are just being fooled with the little knowledge we have.. No one will live forever. You can't stop illegal immigrant... I have never misused my visa but I come across people who do that... I tell them my opinion as I can't misuse it but rather do the right thing. Nevertheless, you can stop it all.. Thanks for the information. I’d share my transcript to the house once I pick up my Visa. It was an awesome experience after being denied once.

The clue is don’t allow any agent do it for you, those guys make mistake and cash out regardless. Also be truthful the truth sets you free. I was asked direct questions of my job and if I lied I wouldn’t have answered it.

Those vO’s are trained so well they know too well and are well informed.

But do know that just as you have chosen to look the other way when you see an intending illegal immigrant, others have also chosen to do more than just 'praying' by discouraging the collective misrepresentation of Nigeria by these individuals.... Every Nigerian is an Ambassador of this country, so his actions or inactions affects his fellow citizens. So those on here who discourage this acts of misrepresentation shouldn't be labeled 'racists'
I implore you to not totally write Nigeria off, you are under 30 and the future of this Country. You would be amazed at how much change you can imbibe in people if you live a model lifestyle and encourage people around you to do same. These other countries appear to function better just because of its people. Zambia has nothing compared to Nigeria yet you are astonished at what they have achieved.... My guess is, they simply did not pray for things to happen, they got things done themselves.

go to greyhound site and they accept Nigeria Mastercard and Visa card as well as Airbnb.

My diamond visa debit card was not accepted on airbnb...

Last time i traveled i paid via paypal - not working for me now.

my question is Can I re-apply for another USA visa again even though i have not gone for my initial scheduled interview? i don't want to go because the Agent i gave the contract filed so many lies on behalf which I did not ask him...okay the error has been made and i dont think i can defend these lies, i dont want it to affect my chances, that is why i want to forgo the application...HELP GUYS!

Pay another visa fee and fill another ds160 form I don't think they will use that form against you.
