I'm not sure of that. Those I know who filled that form got shamed in the end. Till now I still make jest of them.
Back to the question, if the government really wants us to correct the ills in the public service, they should start by expanding the coverage of Npower, what stops us from working in ministries and parastatals... The likes of CBN is meant for their children while we are to be correcting ills with a stipend of 30k that can't even cater for my weekly needs.

If you like say I don't appreciate it.. Their children in CBN, NDIC and other...getting job through the back door aren't better than average Nigerians

An intervention programme that will engage you for two years of your life and return you to the street isn't worth it the first place. What kind of empowerment programme is N-Teach, what skills would they acquire in the process. Its use and dump!

You engage graduates for two years, place them on a stipend of N1000 per day. They feed, pay for transport, buy detergents from this token. You couldn't even place them on graduate entry level salary for that two years! What happens to them after the completion of their two years? You lay them off and take another set to replace them? Do we even know what empowerment means in this country?
If you really want to empower people or graduates. Give them permanent jobs, or train them in business and give them a lumpsum capital to start their own, or give them equipment to start their firms or company. You can't be paying someone 30k a month in this era of hyper inflation and expect him to become an employer after two years. Mediocrity everywhere! Pathetic!

Lolz.. I'm only being objective.. He tried in terms of power, electricity supply has really improved in my area and from the feelers I'm getting, its almost a nationwide improvement.

The Lagos-ibadan dual carriage ,was' also undergoing reconstruction, if not for those sinators that voted down its allocation.

Fashola is just the only working minister, others are just latent or dormant like they arent with portfolio(s) at all.

How can you be sure! N Power prefer taking secondary school leavers than Graduates. I'm disappointed in the scheme mode of selection, you people were unprofessional right from the Application Stage!!!

N power is a nice idea, the only nice thing about this corpsocracy govt,.However, some modification should be made for it to be improved upon.
Changes should be made so it wont become as obsolete and ineffective as the NYSC scheme

Npower is a scheme to shortchange Nigerians.

Instead of government running a proper recruitment for positions, they are using graduates as a means of cheap labour.

Imagine working for N30k a month.

Sure-P was more realistic. The solar borehole established by SURE-P in my community still stands till today but sadly has been left to rot by this evil admin.

Though I was not preselected but I can confidently say that Npower is the most transparent body in this country in terms of selection. You could see Christians and muslims 50/50 % on the list. Kudos to whoever is in charge please do not derail.

They keep CBN, IFRS, NIMASA, e.t.c for their children and give you npower.... say no to npower.... @ npowerng

Npower rocks... I work in primary health center helping a lot of people...

NPower is one of the commendable government initiatives in reducing unemployment.

Npower to me is the most transparent recuitment process I have ever experienced in this country... No man no man....

npower is a gov't programme aim at empowering the unemployed youths....the modalities in administration and processing has not been easy....well we should give them a chance..
as for what some of them have done in my area, its worthy to note off...they have tried and have made so many strides in the health care with their weekly community health outreach.....may God bless them all...
