The Fulani herdsmen issue predates this government:

Personally, I have grown from strength to strength since Buhari came into office.

I can see with my own eyes the improvement in the power and agricultural sectors.

I see the youth whose mind's have been poisoned to always hate being employed in Npower. No previous government gave a hoot about them.

Please lets stop these lies of improvement in the power sector ..I just got home and its pitch dark ..My security man says Elcrticity came earlier but just for an hour ...Jonathan made better strides im Agriculture courtesy his wonderful minister of Agric then and its still the same blueprint thats working with no single new input from the the dullard.

People like u make people hate Christianity.
That dude is making a valid point and you are here talking rubbish.
If those Fuckers give all that money to Nigerians, agnostics like us will become Christians
The developed nations achieve their goals based on government policy and regulations not religious, nigeria the difference is case, our government should be accountable for our present state as a nation not the church

You will continue to lie to yourself.

And I would not stop lauding the improvement.

The testimonies here on Nairaland cannot be wished away by someone who has been bitter about the emergence of this government.

The rice revolution we witness today you can again lie to yourself is the handiwork of Jonathan...continue.

If you want to bless more souls with 50billion naira, then it shouldn't be expended on a building But on the other hand there will be more seeds, offering and Tithes,...... No one, organisation or even the church can spend so much without some cost benefit analysis. At the end of the day souls are secondary,....... that's all I'm trying to say
wat os 50 billion? No amount is too much to spend on the work of God.. A befitting place where saints come together to hear the word of God that makes their lives better is a big plus.. Cant u smell the coffee already? It is the word dat has the capacity to change your status.. The word is quick and powerful, sharper than any two edged sword... Ppl are growing richer spiritually and physically and the church progress is a proof

There were poor people in existense when Solomon spent possibly billions on building the Temple. God did not leave heaven to start living inside the temple. However God himself commended Solomon for the project. Anything that bears the name of God must be splendid! and by the way it is not a yearly project. It is a once in a life time project so it should be done well enough. For a Church building a 500 Billion Naira city for themselves-50 billion is surely a small amount to appropriate for their church building.

Living Faith is a Super Wealthy Global Ministry and they phase the Church in 50 years. They are currently running a plan to 2032 which started in 1982 or so-you had better make peace or you would simply get more angry. The plans i have seen for the next few years are bold and massive. For example Living Faith must build 85,000 housing units more in addition to canaancity before 2032.

Lastly to those mentioning industrialization- the Church money isn't Nigeria's money only. We can't use income of worshippers in Ghana, US, UK, Kenya, Congo, South Africa etc to come and build industries for you. The last i know Ghanians have started accusing Living FAITH of building universities in Nigeria only. pls face your govt and hold them responsible for all your problems. Leave the church out of it.....

Source lol. When it comes to Churches in Nigeria especially Pentecostals I am a source to the source grin

As much I wouldn't want to compared king Solomon that asked for God's wisdom to rule his people,it was never recorded that the wise king Solomon had unattended poor people living in his kingdom??. Solomon was in charge of his kingdom and the bible said with his wisdom, he ruled his people,
Please which wisdom is this pastor using... business wisdom.
I stay close by.. I know what he could have done.. but he has choice things that shows off to the world, he wealth and riches all in the name of God.
All I know is that when the trumpet sounds, everyone would defend him or her self..
Salvation is personal, very personal
Not church wise.

So you telling me it won't boost the economy of Nigerians living around the vicinity

Bolustical:
Nigeria!

Big churches and mosques, little and weak industries.

Substituting work with faith,

... Thou hast faith, and I have works: shew me thy faith without thy works, and I will shew thee my faith by my works. James 2:18...

The church can pave the way for massive industrialisation if it wants to. N50 billion will do a lot in Nigeria's economy.

the pastors have gone back to the Pharisees system of government . They are carried away with things of this world and religion. Reason why Jesus asked if He will meet faith again when He comes back.

Let the government sort out power. Without stable and adequate power, sustainable industrialization is basically impossible. There are many investors both from within and outside Nigeria, waiting for an enabling environment to be created, and they will swoop in.
You guys should leave the church alone. Even the early church didn't build industries. Why bug Winners and RCCG?
