U can't compare the level of CHAN to the Champions League or Confederations Cup which goes on at the same time. Egypt doesn't even participate in CHAN so that should give u an idea.
A player would elect to stay in his country and play CHAN because he wants to represent his country. Players move when the transfer window is open, not only in the summer. Salami moved before the last CHAN and even Chikatara was sold before the last CHAN.

Wait. Are you sure you have been following the CHAN competition at all?

Firstly you said this would be Rabiu Ali's first CHAN. Rabiu Ali that is a house hold name when it comes to this competition.

And now you say Chikatara moved before the last CHAN. The same Chikatara that became a household name in the last CHAN after coming in as a second half substitute for Tunde Adeniji to score 3 goals. Chikatara also scored our only goal in the 1-1 draw against Tunisia in the second game.

OK o

If Tammy desires to be part of SE i think he shpuld be welcomed at least he plays most times and not a constant bench warmer like Nacho.
Except Nacho moves out on loan this January then he's not fit to be in Russia and it will be a great injustice to other strikers scoring goals week in week out in other leagues. I wish Tammy can be bold to declare for Nigeria

Diego Simeone Explains Nigeria Would Have Already Qualified Before Facing Argentina.

One of the most respected coaches in the world and an Argentina World Cup star, Diego Simeone, has picked Croatia as the South Americans toughest opponents in Group D of the 2018 World Cup.

On paper, Simeone argued that the Super Eagles would have accumulated at least four points before they face off with Argentina, which makes their final match of the group a must win fixture.

''The danger in the area is how the games are played, I do not like the order of the matches. Because it happened to us, it happened to us in Japan,'' Simeone told Argentine newspaper La Nacion

Haaa!!!

All these people underrating us are in for a big surprise

We need to really show the world why we are the true Kings of African football in Russia

''Nigeria was the weakest and the first, Sweden was better and in the middle was England, the most powerful. The same as now. Iceland, in theory, all imagine that it will be the easiest rival. If Croatia and Nigeria draw their first game, then a win against Croatia in the second game is mandatory. I explain?

''What happened to us in Japan: we won the opener against Nigeria. But England and Sweden tied. Everyone was happy, but then Sweden beat Nigeria and we were going to the field to play against England and we knew that we could not lose that game. And it happened. Now, of course, if you win the first two games, it will be much easier and none of these accounts will make sense.

''But it is clear that Croatia will be the toughest opponent and that they are in the middle I do not like. You can get to play on the last date against Nigeria, the two with four points or even them with four and we with three, and we know that between the two always the obligation will be Argentina.
''It can go wrong, we already know it. But I explain further: if Nigeria beat Croatia and we beat Iceland; then the second group match with Croatia is dicey because for them it is key, and Nigeria would beat Iceland to add six points.''

Nigeria and Argentina will face off for the fifth time in a group game at the World Cup on June 26, 2018 at Krestovsky Stadium, Saint Petersburg.

I have concerns over our striking department.

Just take a lot at the strikers we have in the fold. Only Ighalo and Nwakaeme seem to be getting the desired playing time. And of course we know how we rate the leagues in which they play. Iheanacho and Kayode that I felt by now should be the two weapons of destruction in the team are not really measuring up club- wise. Iheanacho's case is even worse.

As it is now I am open to any striker that can add value to the team. If we are clamoring for competition in the defense then we should also do same for the attack.

The other day joebie rolled out a list of defenders he wants to see in camp. Why all the emphasis on the defense? As far as I am concerned by the time Rohr screens out the best of the crop of defenders we have already we are good to go. I am not even rooting for any new inclusion in the defense.

Where I want Rohr to throw in competition is in the attack. Rohr and his crew should monitor Paul Onuachu and Junior Ajayi closely. They may turn out to be better than 1 or 2 of the strikers we have already.

As for Tammy. I think we should leave him out of the world cup. If truly he wants to play for Nigeria his loyalty should be tested with a trip to Libya or Seychelles.

Well written bro

Thanks

Tammy the Beloved in a Dilemma.

Sorry Kid, Nigerians don't forget easily.
Ask Nedum, Agbolahor etc.

When next you're presented with such opportunity you weigh up your CHANCES before taking a leap.

My points exactly.

When you're presented with such a juicy opportunity, you take it.

He guy was just being childish

Now that he knows about his slim chances with England, he's trying to have a change of heart

Pinnick even knows that his inclusion in the team might distort team chemistry. Trust me bro, even the current SE players are aware of Tammy's earlier refusal

I even doubt that they may want him playing with them.

House hold name? The only house holds we can be sure of are in Kano.
Anyways the Rabiu Ali one was an oversight. The word I used was 'sold', his club had agreed on a deal prior to CHAN. Wyad agreed on terms before the tournament started.

Arsenal scored the two goals when Zappa was on the pitch.
Chelsea rarely concede when Moses plays, with all his incredible flair he makes a huge sacrifice in the way they play by staying back to help out incase of counter attacks, he's just learning how to be a wing back his offensive attributes are there let him develop his defensive discipline as he is doing.
Do you know with all of Alonso's goals, in contes mind his best and most reliable wing back is v Moses, he is also one of his most important players.

Kayode Set To Dump Girona For Bursaspor Loan Move

0 January 3, 2018 8:12 pm

Nigeria striker Olanrewaju Kayode has been linked with a loan move away from LaLiga club Girona.

Kayode is on loan at Girona from Manchester City, whom he joined last summer from Austria Wien for around €4m.
He is one of a number of City players at sister club Girona, but the Super Eagles star may now be requesting that he be loaned to another club.

Kayode has struggled at Girona, where he has failed to score in 13 appearances, a far cry from his 37 goals in 87 games for Austria Wien.

Now, Spox.com are claiming via Diari de Girona that Turkish club Bursaspor are seriously interested in a loan move for the striker.

Bursaspor, who already have Nigeria stars William Troost-Ekong and Mikel Agu in their squad, were reportedly interested in Kayode last summer before he opted for the City move and Girona loan.

A move to Bursaspor and a goal-scoring revival could win a spot in the Super Eagles Russia 2018 World Cup squad.

Emenike Demoted To Olympiakos Reserves, Set For Exit

Former Super Eagles striker Emmanuel Emenike has been told he will not play for the Olympiakos first team again after being banished to train with the club’s youth team players for the remainder of the season.

The 30-year-old signed a two-year deal at Olympiakos last summer for a reported fee of €2.5m as a direct replacement for compatriot Brown Ideye who joined Tianjin TEDA, but has failed to impress since joining the club.

Turkish outlet reported that a decision will be taken on Emenike’s future at the club in the coming weeks because it is in their best interest not to include the player who clearly wants to leave and might, therefore, cause disruption, even inadvertently.

Potential moves back to Turkish club Kayserispor fell through over the striker’s personal terms, with Emenike reluctant to take a pay cut according to report.

Despite scoring four goals (three in the Greek Cup and one in the UEFA Champions League) for Olympiakos since his arrival, Emenike is yet to find the back of the net in the Greek League in five games since his arrival and has not been in Olympiakos’ matchday squad in the last 15 games.

The former Karabukspor, Fenerbahçe, Spartak Moscow, Al Ain and West Ham star has not featured for the club in their last 15 games and it is unlikely he will feature in the second half of the season.

Moses Rated Average In Chelsea Draw At Arsenal

By James Agberebi: Super Eagles star, Victor Moses’ performance in Chelsea’s thrilling 2-2 draw with Arsenal at the Emirates Wednesday night has been rated average by British tabloid, Daily Mail, Completesportsnigeria.com reports.

Moses started the game but was replaced by Davide Zappacosta in the 56th minute after struggling to impress.

And according to Daily Mail’s player ratings for both teams, Moses got 5.5 out of 10 with his performance described as poor.

Commenting on the Nigeria international’s showing in the Premier League match, Daily Mail wrote: “Seemed almost afraid of the man he was up against – youngster Ainsley Maitland-Niles. Hooked after 56 minutes. A poor game from him.”

After a 0-0 first half, Arsenal broke the deadlock through Jack Wilshere on 63 minutes before Eden Hazard hit back for Chelsea from the penalty spot on 67 minutes.

Marcos Alonso thought he had scored the winner on 84 minutes after slotting in Zappacosta’s low cross but Hector Bellerin grabbed a late equaliser in the 92nd minute to rescue a point for Arsenal.

Yes moses didn't have a great game..

Why?.. Because he was fatigued, he has played too many games just coming from injury, and he struggled, because he was against Sanchez and a young ,well rested maitnand Niles, him alone..

And about assist, did you know the first one on one , morata missed was a long pass up the field from Moses? A goal morata should have scored.. And earned moses an assist..

Let's learn to put things in perspective when talking about our players, yesterday was an average game for moses, let's move on..

It's not an issue..
