No university of high pedigree anywhere in the world would announce the release of admission list on its website and ask prospective students to click a link to view and for ONE WEEK, there is actually no admission list

It’s just appalling . Only God knows what the decision makers are doing about it. I just tire for Unilag matter. Even my friend who finished his masters there has some reservations about how the school of post graduate is being handled. I just hope they will deem it fit to release the result on time

On time as in days before Jan 11 which they marked for commencement of registeration. To enable people gather the documents they need and all.

An example is undergraduate transcript which I’ve not applied for, tho I don’t know how soon unilag wants it

You dont need a transcript if you have your former university certificate besides registration can linger for a month due to pple that may have portal issues and pple changing courses

Even if Unilag releases the results and admission list today, the credibility will still be in doubt.

Already, some lecturers are expressing fears that the original lists have been doctored.

UNILAG withdraws 2017/2018 admission list over alleged irregularities

The management of the University of Lagos (UNILAG), Akoka, has withdrawn the admission list for candidates who have chosen to study in the university during the 2017/2018 academic session, which it earlier released last week.

Are you sure they are refering to post graduate admission list or undergraduate? Last year, the same rumour was spread and the same high bp was shared before the list came out. The high bp will be higher when the names start coming out and then you couldnt find ur department on the list. It wise rise further if you now have to wait for supplementary list, have problems with ur portal or changing ur course. I understand how higher it is now sef, particularly when you havent even seen your score. Goodluck y'all anyway.

That's true let's disregard it. They kwn the challenge they re facing but this could lead to reputational risk. Daily post did not specify the type of admission/program

It was undergraduate admission list. They had to flush out those who did runs to increase their post utme scores and they published their names and told them they won't be admitted into unilag again. Trouble started when a certain girl who had 0 in her post utme score got admitted and her friends started the complain on social media.

A staff who had access to the list actually confirmed my name is on the list, but other than that am just being positive.

Funny enough, I don't knw the person. It was friend who finished his programme in the same department that called the bros on my behalf and he confirmed my name and that of a friend too. I've tried checking for others afterwards but I've not been able to get feedback cos the bros doesn't have access to the list anymore. heard its no longer in the department again.
