chillex8: Well with the T/C it is easy now. So am sure if the drivers makes 80k they go share am like that. So no reason for partners to come cry. Worse case they partner will discontinue the agreement. That's is if he is losing than gaining. Am sure some days are good and some bad . But for me I don't see how any driver will work so hard and be sharing the money with partner. Most drivers just want use the car and pay their rental |

chillex8: Honestly, is a good strategy for both owners and drivers. But my concern is, if Ogunvic41 or the driver decides to cheat, by then you must have lost 30k fuel card, including ur weekly money. You can't kill the driver to pay u, or the fleet-manager, all they will tell u, is they will replace a good driver for u 1 Like |

Fleet management is a a function which allows companies in transportation business to remove or minimize risk associated with vehicle investment, improving efficiency, productivity and reducing overhead costs. From Wikipedia It includes 1. Vehicle financing 2. Vehicle maintenance 3. Vehicle telematics 4. Speed management 5. Fuel management 6. Health and safety management 7. Driver management and behaviour Simply said, fleet management is the optimization of costs, risks and efficiency. What does fleet management mean to e-hailing? |

agborichard: Thank you . My opinion quality is not been given attention to. Too many cars. How many fleet supervisor to a car. What happens if a lot of the car break down. Do you have enough man power to solve the issue. I might sound silly . But for me I rather have all the attention given to my cars. I wouldnot like to have a fleet manager that manages cars for other people. My fleet manager has six other cars under him plus mine he has 11 cars. I rather have him focus on my stuff alone. So that I get his full attention. When the time is rite. I will ask him to drop the other cars and work for me alone . He might have conditions. He hinted that if I can get up to 20 cars he will return the other cars. Would he do it or not. That I don't known. But for somethig like that to work I will have to offer him good incentives. You I want to build a company around Uber. I just don't want to do it just for doing it sake . People don't realize that am one of the most reasonable person to do business with. I always belief that if you scratch my back I will scratch yours . For anyone to succeed you need a good team around you. Treat them with respect. But Nigeria factors at times its very hard. 3 Likes |

agborichard: The management of over 40cars in a true fleet management scenario isn't much an issue ... u have fleet management solutions that cost sometimes an arm or leg. You have solutions ranging from 50k to 100k per vehicle that monitors a lot of indices and gives u daily or weekly reporting 1 Like |

You've Spent So Much To Acquire That Car, Install A Tracker!!! Insurance is good and necessary, but ONLY A TRACKER CAN GUARANTEE SECURING YOUR VEHICLE IN THE EVENT OF THEFT... WHY DOES YOUR CAR NEED A TRACKER: !1) Security: While anti-theft systems like push-buttons before car start, gear lock, pedal locks etc... are good, ONLY A TRACKING SYSTEM LIKE OURS ALLOWS YOU TO RECOVER YOUR VEHICLE IF YOUR CAR IS HIJACKED FROM YOU WHILE DRIVING. (2) Remote Monitoring: GPS Security trackers allows you to monitor your vehicle location remotely from your phone. You are able to view your car's location in real time (from our IOS/ANDROID APPS). (3) Vehicle History: Through our online platform (IOS/ANDROID APPS), you can view where your car had been between DAY X and DAY Y. A plot is shown on a map showing your car's movement over this period of time. (4) Remotely Stop Your Car: With our security GPS tracker, you are able to stop your car from ANY PHONE with an sms command. This function can also be carried out through our online platforms. (5) Geo-Fencing Alarm:If your car goes beyond set a radius (or multi-point), say Lagos, you will be notified by sms. (6) Other alarms (Over-speed Alarm, Ignition On Alarm, Low Battery Alarm ): Over-speed alarms notifies you via sms when your car goes beyond a particular speed. Ignition on notifies you WHENEVER your car is started. Low Battery Alarm lets you know when your car battery is low. (7) Daily Mileage report (online platform): Daily mileage report shows you a daily chart (in KM) of your car. Visit our website www.mymoto.com.ng or call/whatsapp 08060675824 for details.

What does fleet management mean to this business? Fleet managing/management is to optimise cost and give a well calculated ROI to the investment. The E-hailing structure has left the position of extra income from driving your own vehicle whenever you are free to a business oriented structure whereby you can rent out your vehicle for a rental fee be it weekly or monthly. This has made partners invest cash into purchasing vehicles and expect a calculated ROI within a time frame. But most times this calculated ROI doesn't come out as expected, so we look towards someone who can manage the stress and keep the returns at a controlled pace...... I dey come make I pick drink for fridge... |

dru23:It's funny you think one fleet supervisor would be able to manage 20 cars that are yours but you don't think Romeo3, Ogunvic41 and their managers can't handle 40 cars that aren't theirs. Does the bolden means you want to replicate their model with your own cars? I think alot of people need to take a chill pill, you guys don't have an indepth idea of the business model yet you say it's not sustainable. The time when you're suppose to have Romeo and Ogunvic for dinner is when a partner comes to complain that his 50k wasn't paid. Romeo3 and Ogunvic I think you guys are divulging too much here already, some of this info should be left for investors. 4 Likes |

laytoshtwo: Let's see if drivers will understand it this way. Someone is working or doing business, manage to buy a car, decide to put it in Uber for extra income. Then driver approach him, saying the only way to be successful in doing transport is HP, now that person is not super rich, he just an average guy looking for extra income. After analyzing the risk, he goes with hp, because of his inexperience, and when driver default, they claim they have paid certain amount of money, trying to ignore the terms. Those drivers sees Chisco motors and good is good motors they are super rich owners, with plenty of cars, they won't approach them, to sell one of their cars on hp, but u see an average guy with less account balance, you find a way to bully him or manipulate him, by saying all sorts of negative words, inhuman, greed, slavery. You greedy drivers need to stop this nonsense and face ur work, if you want to buy a car, go to where they are selling it and buy or go to bank to take a loan. 3 Likes |

Smart guys are making money...that I don't explain my strategies to the public doesn't mean we don't know what we are doing.. We have a team of 10 dedicated hard working guys...more cars more staff... We have drivers and clients on this thread...have u heard any complains?? Even if the driver made 80k the partner still get 50k... several back ups. Have been working on this project for over 3 years, driving on uber and taxify was an experiment... Most fleet managers never drove on the platforms... I drove, I own a car, I know the pains of a driver and car owner... Am an automobile person, so what else... |

sconp:The guy wanted to use us. We realized what he was doing and the rest is history. He has tried to cause divisions and it didn't work. It's why he is bitter. You have asked him a salient question, he will never reason along those lines..... If he believes 1 person can manage his 20 cars, his logic also dictates that only 2 people can manage 40 cars. but we have a team of more than 5 managing 40 cars... You can only wonder what his problem is. 2 Likes |

Romeo3: Nope driving isn't an added advantage in terms of fleet management system, a good example within this bizness is the management of app companies we engage, they bring out measures to bring investors (US) to use their app but they don't drive to know what measures to use or bring out. |

sconp:No now of coz not . I known that one manager can not mange 20 cars u rite. I will hire more hands has the times goes. If I have two or more fleet mangers. I want them to be soley dedicated to me. Simple as dat. What works for me might not work others. But we can agree that it's better to have managers that are solely dedicated to your cars only . I want that attention. |

Carshopper: They don't drive, that's why they did a slash in fare price which burnt them seriously. To hit top notch again they had to engage driver partners in several sessions to come up with strategies. Having been a driver previously will always be an added advantage...knowing about cars will alway be an added advantage. .. your drivers will not give u crap stories. 2 Likes |
