sleekchic: I respect and acknowledge your opinion as true, but I have another which may slightly differ. This thing is a test of endurance and determination. it is not for the rich alone nor for the one without faith. Some people couldn't personally afford evaluation fee alone but are now Canada PR. The difference between the rich and poor is the way they handle their desires. Poor man sees something expensive and say "I can't afford this", while the rich would say "how can I get this?" Someone's story in this race. Saved about #300k and Was "given" #500k by father, who couldn't raise more, to go and study as student. 1st step: s/he started degree evaluation with 120k. 2nd: S/he booked IELTS GT with 68k and practice hard knowing fully no other option than passing. 3rd: Booked ticket with about 270k enter canny with student visa. 4th: Long before booking IELTS, Approached every living soul that s/he know can help s/he get fund required and a person came through at last minute to travel as student. 5th. landed as student with the rest of money from s/he had from fathers donation and savings. 6th. Got ITA about a week of entering as student and fund from s/he person. 7th. Met someone in Canada that "gave" him or her money for s/he PR application fee and first month rent in Canada. 8th. Due to economic situation of Nigeria and people involved, Almost all donations are returned except from father and applicant now studying in Canada as Permanent Resident. Even some wealthy people wait 3 months or more to submit ITA but S/he submitted in about a week. That's favour meet planning and determination. God allows the wise decipher it all and let the determined have it. Clears troat, That's all!! 33 Likes 2 Shares |

Good day E-family I want to ask some questions for a colleague who is worried about his past condition. When we did the calculation together, his CRS is 454 together with his spouse The question is PCC related, his predicament goes thus: He applied for a South African Visit Visa in 2005-2006 with his real name, his application was rejected, the first application was with his real age, He then did another passport with an increased age with different name(though were his other name and his mother maiden name as surname) and got the visa. When he went to SA, he was convicted for fraud spent 6months in prison and deported home, When he came back 2007 he turned new leaf, went to school, took up a legit job after graduation and worked till date He doesn't have possession of the old passports with either name Meanwhile his finger print were taken in SA when he went to prison. 1. Would he need to get PCC from SA considering its a different name ? 2. Should he be silent about it during the application for the EE? 3 is there any stage during the EE application that he needs to send his finger print to CIC? 4. If he decide to be silent about it, would CIC know he ever live in South Africa? Gurus, I told him all these questions are beyond my knowledge, I also a newbie just learning the rope but promised to help him ask and research, pls your contributions is needed Thanks in anticipation. 1 Like 1 Share |

Re: Canadian Express Entry/Federal Skilled Workers Program-Connect Here Part 3 by Osemigho: 12:52pm On Jan 04, 2018 |
Ojasope1: Very complicated profile. His fingerprint matched with different name is with SA. What was the jail for, his fraud with name? Mehn, I can only advise him to be truthful in his application and not expect too much from it. Why? I don't know what CIC do to fingerprint and name taken. Their background check might reveal his problem with SA. Also, a simple investigation on him in the future might reveal all his past if he conceal it now and enter Canada successful. Such revelation would likely get him jailed again and maybe deported. So, for his past not to continue to hunt him, let him come out clean and expect the worst while praying for the best. All na my personal opinion with no experience. Thanks. 7 Likes |

policy12: My dear, to get on this train, you have to be strong willed and be able to make certain (sometimes tough) decisions. Many people here have had to go through varying degrees of challenges and they often scaled through, yours won't be any different if you stay determined and focused. I suspended a major project to get on this race after an initial reluctance 2 years ago, I have since lost 11 precious potential CRS points. It was a massive decision for me to make at the time but I remain hopeful despite IELTS trying to play ludo with our morale. The fear of not acing IELTS will only pile more pressure on you so free your mind, practice well and go for the kill. 436 is a fine score for 2018. In the end, you'd be glad you gave your best to this cause regardless of the final outcome. For financing, you'd need some good amount of money to be honest. To be prudent, you'd need to have a budget of about 500k, excluding flight ticket and PoF to get this thing done properly. If you can do an honest assessment of how such an amount can get to you, then by all means commence. Believe me, if you put your heart to this, help would come from the unexpected. However, you also need to do a periodic reassessment of your sources of funds. You'd be good in the end. Thanks to those who have indicated interest in having you in mind if/when a possible job placement comes up. I'll send you a PM if there's any from my end too. Stay motivated 4 Likes |

Re: Canadian Express Entry/Federal Skilled Workers Program-Connect Here Part 3 by mcstan18(m): 1:24pm On Jan 04, 2018 |
4wearegreat: The major motivation you need is the future you envisioned before deciding to start in the first place. Have your goal still in sight and I'm almost certain you'd never let up. Except you're doing this without a definite aim in mind. You may also look at a few experiences from people on the thread. Leave your village people, dem go tire if you no tire. 2 Likes |

Osemigho: Thank you for your response If he decides explain his past, 1 would he just do it under personal history bearing in mind that no evidence to show he was deported or convicted as the passport is not available. 2. He may not be able to get a PCC from SA with his real name as he was denied visa with |

Re: Canadian Express Entry/Federal Skilled Workers Program-Connect Here Part 3 by Nobody: 4:06pm On Jan 04, 2018 |
Abbylee: Please don’t be. Your worry can’t change anything. Ask God to help you quicken their assessment or evaluation or whatever it is they said they are doing. As long as you were truthful in your application and have nothing to hide, it will end well. Timing is not the issue, the issue is that your PPR comes out and your efforts are not in vain. And it shall end in praise (let me borrow TeeCan’s catchphrase). |

Loffloff: You can even ask it to be sent to a UK adddress and have the person scan to you in the immediate and send the physical copy through later. |

They are super fast so far your school respond on time. You can pay with your debit card if your bank allows for international transaction although I used a dollar debit card for mine because my bank didn't allow for international transactions seunfoster: 1 Like |

Hello e-fam, Please how possible is it to change address after sending PCC FBI? Its not up to a month that I sent through DHL. If possible, how can one go about it? My Spouse sister that I used her address just informed me that she will be relocating to another state with her family cos her husband got a new job. I'm kinda dazed and want to seek advise here. Thanks Fam. |
