Thank you for this piece. Thank you very much. The Igbo are people with deafening potentials but not without some streaks of besetting arrogance – the downside of it. We also lack cohesion which would have catalyzed our developmental stride. I hope you can champion a campaign, starting from this very forum, that will serve as an ethical guide to our youths, and possibly, at the long run, as a developmental plan for the region. You are welcome. We can do that |

Our people need to be completely reconditioned. Yorubas clearly have a road path. They are slowly developing their states. Igbos are completely disorganized with no defined vision. Hausa/Fulanis are playing dangerous politics breeding Almajiris. They are setting themselves up for self destruction.
My anger is that we can do better if we can organize ourselves a little. One day Nigeria will split, South south may likely not follow Igbos. Yorubas will survive because they are presently building infrastructure. Igbos will start afresh if we don't start now You really made sense, kudos. If only they would listen 1 Like |

Yyeske: I think it's a little too late for championing any campaign, most have been so brainwashed that any attempt to start that wouldn't work. Lol, nothing is too late. These things are psychological manipulations. Kanu was a master in mind control. I listened to Radio Biafra, however being a sceptic, I see through every revolution what most are - experiments and mind control |

mesoprogress: I do not even know how to title this peace. But it's directed at IPOB and their Igbo supporters and the future of Igbos.
We have clearly seen that we are not built to fight a war that would utterly destroy us. When military invaded Abia state , all IPOB retreated and became silent. Unlike in the north where they would fight to their death. One thing I understood from this is that we love our lives, not yet ready to die fighting for any cause .
Our people are also nauseating boastful, especially the kids on this platform. There is a tension and unseen suspicion of Igbos in the country presently. Most of you kids don't know.
While Yorubas are busy turning Lagos to a megacity ,we are here bickering. No matter how much Tinubu and co are stealing, they still have very good plans for Lagos. You will say Igbos developed Lagos but Aba is at least 80% Igbo dominated. It's about policies. Even though Aba might be generating millions of dollars monthly, there is no city planning in place.
My main reason for writing this peace is to ask fellow Igbos to retreat . In any war wether physical, economical or political, you need strategyand allies. Firstly, let's stop being boastful even if we really control 80% of commerce in Lagos and Kano. We say we are Jews, but we've learnt nothing from them. Jews are very proud but never boastful. They can control your whole economy, country silently without making any noise. Jews (Rothschild family) presently own and control modern world banking system including our CBN and US federal reserve. That's why they can mess up your economy if you don't do things their way. They even control US government! Yet they are very silent. Any day they mention by themselves that they control US government would end in disaster for them.
So let us be wise, silent and strategize to build Ala-Igbo from scratch . Sometimes I feel most people shouting "Afonja" on this forum may not even be Igbos. May be mischievous characters to discredit and pitch Igbos against their neighbours. The disadvantage of this kind of forum.
I hope this message gets across to someone and that it actually made him have a change of thinking
It is safe to say without doubt that above crap is born out of prodigality. You were very silly in analogous attempt to equate Ndigbo with Islamized northern region of Nigeria. There is a clear evidence that certain goons from northern region of Nigerian and certainly the brains behind the political mayhem, social retardation and menace of Fulani herdsmen were elites from the northern region of Nigeria who occupy prominent positions in the central government of Nigeria and looked the other way as northerners wore AK-47 publicly. An Igbo person cannot even carry a walking stick without being adjudged as terrorists by Nigerian security agencies. It is no crime to have opinions. However such opinions are not facts. Ndigbo are not boastful but very action-oriented which foolish detractors often construed loudly as boastful. It seems you have knack for acts of stupidity especially with silly reference of Yoruba and Lagos. Yoruba did not develop Lagos and it will amount to irreparable idiocy for any Nigerian to have such notion. The major issue in the so-called restructure of Nigeria remains how to raise Lagos and Abuja in the defunct eastern and midwestern regions respectively. These megacities were developed collectively from the coffers of the so-called central government of Nigeria. It is unfortunate that you foolishly indulged in the uneducated comparison of Lagos and Aba. Unlike Lagos, Aba has never been remotely touted as the federal capital city of Nigeria. There is no single federal government presence in Aba. With the display of inadequate thought processes in the above post, it is safe to say that you and ilk are totally responsible for Nigeria’s backward progression. I had to invite you to join the agitation for the Republic of Igbo land or Biafra where things will be accomplished without the burden of tribal bias. It is said that the test of the pudding is in the eating. Allow the Republic of Igbo land or even Biafra to live for two or three years and then compare with the century old zoo called Nigeria. 1 Like |

You are very naive and have no idea what is going on. Or just in denial
1) Before IPOB, MASSOB came peacefully and didn't insult anyone while asking for the right to self determination but guess what? They were killed and some locked up without trial. Yorubas cheered and celebrated.
2) IPOB with a vocal leader; who used to be a member of MASSOB, came unarmed with peaceful and organized protests. The Nigerian court even declared them lawful initially but he got assassinated by an authoritarian devil. Yorubas cheered and celebrated.
3) IPOB members are not scared of dying for their beliefs as you claim. A lot of them gave their life for it. Even before Nnamdi Kanu's assassination.
4) The reason IPOB is not out in the open now is that they have been falsely declared a Terrorist organization. The Nigerian army has a shoot to kill order. This means that even without protest, having biafran flag is enough for the army to shoot you. So now they are forced to operate underground.
5) As for your complain about Igbos bragging, they have every right to do so. If the people in Nigeria dont like it, they should organize a national conference to let Igbos leave. Simple. Can you give an evidence to your claim before God strikes your mouth with heavenly stick? |

After USA had civil war, they spent billions of dollars in today's money to rebuild the south that was destroyed.
After WW2, trillions of dollars was spent to rebuild europe and Japan.
After the korean war, US spent money to help the south korean economy.
BUT in Nigeria
After the 3 years civil war with the whole east destroyed, Nigerian government experienced an oil boom. The Fedral government used that money to pump into lagos infrastructure and later, they built a band new city from scratch (ABUJA). The East was abandoned and left to rotten. But thank God for the fighting spirit of the Igbo man. The Igbo man worked hard and rebuilt his city without any aid including the marginalization he was facing on top of it.

The Nigger area needs Igbo and their kin in the East. If not, why wage a war to keep them in the zoo when Yoruba and Fulani have their own distinct lands?
After all, who else can they tax on seaports and airports, who else can they rent their quack properties to, and who else can their sons marry or even bone and feel like they are “Men”? |
