goldfish80: You make a valid point but i'd argue that lacking fundamentals is more common in countries where keepers do not have good early grooming. Almost every top Nigerian keeper, i know, struggled with catching crosses in their youth. Enyeama for instance only improved that part of his game when he went to Israel. |

tbaba1234: Well , no 2 players are the same. It will be wrong to use Enyeama's experience to judge others. Guys like like Sunday Rotimi, Dele Aiyenugba, Sam Okoye, Chijioke Ehiogu, Ejide to name a few were groomed in Nigeria but they never had problems with crosses. |

Mickael2: Are you the one that will make Nacho flop? Nacho is good at converting chances. The problem he is having at Leicester City is one, not getting playing time and when he gets time on the pitch, the team is poor at creating chances. It is not just a Kelechi Iheanacho problem. The same thing happened with Slimani yesterday, despite working hard for the team. Did you watch Morata against Arsenal? He wasted three to four chances. Nacho needs those kind of services and he will deliver. I have no shared of doubt. |

rabzy: Why do you think transfers happens? Coaches find players that fit their system. No coach will buy Messi to play in a park bus system. Neither will Peter Crouch be ideal for a tip tap system that has the striker playing as a false nine. Nacho can play in different Systems but a team that creates chances is best suited for his high conversion rate. 1 Like |

Oasis007: Neither Puel nor Shakespeare will coach a team to go out and attack Manchester United. It takes courage, tactical insights and long hours on the training pitch passing out instructions to help the team operate as an offensive Unit. Sorry, Shakespeare or Puel are far from that. I mean, Puel could not set up his team offensively against Fleetwood. 1 Like |

Kog45:yes you are right that for now there is no comparison between keshi and rohr however one cannot say because of his achievements we will not remember some of his mistakes. I will consider myself one of the big bosses staunchest supporters but I know some of his player selections then were somehow. From Agbim to gabriel reuben to uchebo these few stand out for me but the decision that had me scratching my head was his refusal to take Ike uche to the world cup even though he was our best performing striker at the time. Yes he qualified togo for the world cup but remember it was his falling out with emmanuell adebayor that led to Togo's poor performance at the 2006 AFCON while he did coach mali he didn't achieve anything of note with them. So no matter which way you cut it his critics have enough mud to throw at him but for me he will always remain the legend and great of african nigerian football. As for rohr he failed with niger and didn't achieve anything of note with gabon and burkina faso so he still has a lot to prove |

chrisooblog:My man my comment emanated due to a moniker who portrayed Keshi as a corrupt man.So that's not criticism but tarnishing his image with malicious facts, hope you get my point now,am not here to defend Keshi but to put the record straight. I do criticised Keshi but with fact not beer parlour fact, definitely he must be criticised but there are some criticisms that are absurds and not good for someone personality.Do we say Rohr is receiving bribes for calling player like Musa to camp despite not playing for Leicester city or do we accused him of collecting money for Nwakili invitation, remember Aaron Samuel invitation,i believe Rohr is the coach and i must respect his decision even if am not happy with it so let respect Keshi decision and people should stop label him a corrupt man. On Ike Uche,Keshi would not be the first coach to drop a player,we have numerous examples of coaches dropping world class players citing different reasons. It was on this thread someone was calling Onigbinde $10k dollar man and i need to come out to say that James Obiorah whom i know personally did not pay a dime before 2002 WC or where do we want Enyeama, Ejide, Opabunmi to get $10k from as home based players, forgetting the same Onigbinde coached the same team as far back as 1984. My question is this why are we always running our country men down just cos we want to praise White men.Did you know how Dosu Joseph got into Atlanta 96 squad,he came in to the team purely on business between Bonfrere Jo and Churchill Olishe, thank God we won Atlanta 96 gold. |

Humility017: Sorry to say; you need to adjust, and stop being emotional and sentimental. Can you tell me the Difference between Forgiveness accusing Rohr of taking Bribes and you accusing Musa's Agent of being greedy and selfish without Evidence?! What's certain is; Musa is definitely gonna move to another Club in this TW. Puel has hinted it already, hence he needs to sort it out with his Agent. He can not dare or afford to make a wrong Decision. Thus he and his Agents need to carefully opt for a Club that gonna guarantee him playing Time. The same Harris is the Agent of Ekong, so what say you about Ekong Transfer to the Turkish League?! You are making it seems as if the Agent hates the League, whereas he's only trying to get the best deal for his Client?! Or are you taking Musa for a Fool?! He can't think straight, nor knowing what's at Stake by not playing regularly in 2018?! Relax Bro! You can't love Musa more than he loves himself! 3 Likes 1 Share |

goldfish80:I asked how many 'high profile'....not how many 'good' goalies. Being good is not enough, certain things like location and training go a long way. For instance, most of the African goalies today began their professional careers in Africa and with African clubs, it dents their profile with European teams considerably |

Truidstar:No wahala my man,am not being emotional but doing this due to great respect i have for the man cos i do remember how he was banned from national team by Anthony Ikhazoboh just cos he played for NNB in wafu cup and reported to camp a day late and left the country as a frustrated man to Cote d voire then moved to Belgium and came back into the team as a strong man who assisted a lot of Nigeria players to Europe. |

Oasis007: please read the full story....below and pay more attention to the bolded. next time stay off my mentions...being that you you're the one who knows who is ignorant and who is not.....I just don't wanna go dirty wit you... Nigeria: Musa Not Going to Turkey, Says Agent Super Eagles striker, Ahmed Musa is not interested in a move to Turkey. His agent Tony Harris said the player will remain in England and take his chances with the Foxes.] There are indications that Turkish Super Ligue side, Bursaspor and Leicester City are in negotiations for a loan deal for Musa who is yet to start a game for the former English Premier League champions this season. Bursaspor's representative Hasan Parlakay confirmed their interest while speaking with reporters. "Ahmed Musa is a very influential player who will be able to add value and class to us," Parlakay said. "If we are realistic, we cannot buy him. But he wants to play with Nigeria in the World Cup. For this you have to keep playing and keep form in the league. We have players in our team from the same national team, [Mikel] Agu and [William] Troost-Ekong. "Wearing the Bursaspor shirt on loan until the end of the year is an attractive offer. We hope to give good news in the coming days." However, Harris who disclosed that as much as three top Turkish clubs are keen on having Musa, said the dashing winger will not consider a move. "We have indeed been approached by the top three clubs in Turkey but Musa is not keen to go to Turkey just yet. "There's a big chance that Musa will remain in England. I'm however, surprised about the link to Bursaspor. "I don't know where the rumour came from. "It's a complete joke and a figment of someone's imagination. Rest assured Musa is not going to Bursaspor," said Harris who also represents Super Eagles defender William Troost-Ekong who players for Bursaspor. http://allafrica.com/stories/201801070064.html |

Kog45:ok I get your point for me personally I've always judged our national team's coaches based on their coaching ability and behaviour during their stint. I don't think I have seen people run down nigerian coaches just to say the white ones we have had are saints after all westerhof after stephen keshi was our most successful coach but it's an open secret that he was a proper jobman during that period. The truth is a lot of our indigenous coaches have brought this doubt of their integrity on themselves. From siasia and his boys constant invitations to oliseh and his link to churchill his brothers players or the relationship between stephen keshi and the football agent tony harris. So even though as you rightly said they might not be any evidence to link them to any case of bribery these stories floating around don't help their case. 2 Likes |

I don't think he has done anything wrong by clamouring for Kayode. He has given us his reasons-which might not be bought by everyone. We must not forget that the coach has the final say.
