Those flat head cannibals single handedly destroyed the first southern alliance we had that proved that we can win election against the North if there is strong southern unity. They behaved as if they single-handedly voted GEJ into power. In terms of infrastructural development, SW recorded nothing to benefit from GEJ's administration. GEJ did not help matters by his woeful failures and abysmal performance. It was an easy decision for the SW to withdraw their alliance with him.

Awo's case was a conspiracy between The Eastern NCNC and Northern NPC for the control of the opposition controlled SW. Abiola's case was due to the selfish reasons of IBB and Abacha. Abacha even jailed his fellow Northerners. Yaradua even died in prison. Many Nigerians of other ethnic groups were assassinated while some survived the assassination attempts. The Yorubas are just Enduring and Tolerating every Process for Peace, Growth and Progress of the Country.
