Click current students, login in with your application number and surname (in Lower case as password). Update your biodata, when it has been successfully updated. Click on the admission letter button.

This can only happen when the admission list of your departement has been uploaded.

Been unable to do this. Guess this is because my department's admission list is yet to be released officially.

Sincerely Unilag scares me with the way they are handling this whole process. I mean if they cannot get everything well coordinated and have the lists released all at once, how well will they now handle the respective programmes we all put in for?

They should just get their act together, this is 2 days to registration already.

Please be informed that unilag has removed their so called Calendar which states that registration starts on Thursday. The school is not just doing their things as expected.

Can someone please share the timetable with me?

A friend went to school yesterday and was told no date has been fixed for registration due to the ongoing strike by Non-academic staffs

Please I ll lyk to verify,in the course of updating biodata,can I fill my husband name now,cos am married,though I applied wt my father's name cos DTS wat s on my credentials, dont no if I shud still continue wt DT,or update using my husband's name,cos I v all d documents to back d change of name

Mrs. Sorry, hope you know you are putting yourself in a big issue. U should use the name on all your certificates and the one u use in registering. All ur names must tally. Using ur husband's name now means u are not the owner of the admission.

There are 2 ways to this.
1. Use your default name to complete the program, then after concluding the program u go for change of name of all your credentials. It's done legally and news papers must carry it.


2. Go for change of name now and notify Unilag why doing that.

The first option is the easiest......

Unilag has released the screening and registration procedure for all those on 2017/2018 Postgraduate Admission List and below is the full details. Note that before going through the guide below, you must have seen your name on the admission list.

REGISTRATION PROCEDURE FOR FRESH POSTGRADUATE STUDENTS 2017/2018 ACADEMIC SESSION

Note: Unilag did not specify when the registration will close and I guess this because of the ongoing strike. Just follow the instruction in the post below for now if you already found your name on the Admission list

1. Click on this ‘Current Students‘ link here or on the School of Postgraduate Studies home page



2. Login with your Application No as Matric No and your Surname in lowercase as your password. (You will be prompted to change your password upon successful login)

3. Update Biodata, Print Payment Advice, Biodata Form, Acceptance and Admission Letter

4. Make payment online or at any commercial bank in Nigeria (please ensure you present your printed payment advice containing your Remita RRR number for bank branch payment). You can also make payment in any of the banks in school or make payment online via your portal after login and following step 1-3 above.

Kindly also note the following

(i) Instalment payment is only for part-time programmes

(ii) Students must pay both Obligatory and Tuition Fees before they can Register Online

5. Get details of courses to be registered from your department

6. Print four (4) copies of course registration form

7. The course forms need to be signed by the candidate, Head of Department, Bursar and School of Postgraduate Studies in that order.

8. Come to School of Postgraduate Studies and pick Prospectus for a fee #5,000 (Compulsory).

9. Proceed to Jelili Omotola Hall C for Screening. The School of Postgraduate Studies is the final stage of the registration process.
