No, he did not. He lost the ball on many occasion on one on one. Kelechi gets confused and jittery whn a defender is in his face. Same with Iwobi , but the difference is that Iwobi will quickly pass the ball and run away for fear of blunder...sad

Iwobi too... Four goals and 3 assists I think (will document it better with time) in as many games. He has also grown to be very influential in the current Super Eagles and the system we play which make us really dangerous customers

Maybe I have bad memory but apart from his input in the second half against Zambia remind me which match Iwobi had a fantastic game for Nigeria.

On Kelechi, take away the goals because we all know he is a "tap in merchant" and tell me how he has improved.

Was it a defence splitting pass?

If it is was, why didn't it get to Welbeck direct?

I am baffled with the negative criticism Iwobi is getting. If I did not watch the game, it will be as if Iwobi did nothing for 90 mins. Out of nothing, Iwobi created scoring opportunity after giving a Kevin De Bruyne kind of pass that split the Nottingham Forrest defence into two and Welbeck scored the goal. If Kevin De Bruyne or David Silva gave that pass, there would have been a party to celebrate it. Instead Iwobi is getting sticks. Those Arsenal bloggers tearing Iwobi are ingrates.

Iwobi was fantastic against Togo in the friendly. He had two assists that day. Practically unplayable.

Iwobi was also pretty good against Algeria in Uyo. He did have a very decent first half.

Against Egypt too.... That little cameo of Iwobi in Kaduna that brought about that ingenious pass to Victor Moses which Moses flunked. It ended 1-1.

And in Alexandria... Iwobi came in the second half and the Egyptians were gasping for air and praying for the game to end. We lost 1-0.

That is four games off the top of my head.



On Nacho, he has scored two worldies for the Super Eagles.... In fact, make that three coz of that freekick. Is he still only just the tap-in merchant?

Dude has four assists for Nigeria. Does that not speak about Nacho's Vision and keen eye for the final pass? Haba

What is trap the damn ball? You should have points to defend your negative criticism than saying trap the damn ball. My point is simple. Even without Slimani having a shot on target, his coach pointed out he had a good game. Just like I said a long time ago Iheanacho would have skinned the South Africans alive if we could deliver good passes in that game. You can not blame the attacker for that.
