President Buhari has cancelled his trip to Abia state and is currently in a meeting with Benue state governor, Samuel Ortom, over the repeated attacks on farmers in the state by herdsmen.

On New Year day and last Saturday January 6th, herdsmen attacked farmers in two communities in the state killing 59 of them including a pregnant woman. The victims will be given a mass burial on Thursday, January 11th.

President Buhari was earlier scheduled to be in Abia state for an APC mega Rally where himself, the Vice President Yemi Osinbajo and other party chieftains will receive members of the party that defected from other party to theirs.

The rally was scheduled last year. So why did the President choose the date he is supposed to be in Abia to attend to Ortom when the deadly attack was carried out since last week.

Other countries presidents and government officials are busy developing their countries, but president Buhari and Nigeria government are busy going about mega party for the next year election campaign. While Boko haram and Fulani herdsmen terrorists are killing those calling themselves one Nigeria as we speak.

as if he ever planned it. good thing he did not go, because his visit is useless to the people of that state. visiting them will not solve the economic hardship ppl in that part of the country are facing. other states he has visited, nothing happened.

Security is the state of being free from danger or threat.

Holding meeting after an attack has happened already doesn't make you a responsible president, Rather preventing it from happening is what makes you a great leader.
