if this is true then am beginning to doubt the fairness of UI admission process bcus I applied for economics and my aggregate was 58, but am yet to be given admission not even to my applied coc course and there is a friend here who was just 0.13 point away from the cutoff of the same course yet she hasn't been admitted. chiomaMee u nid to see this nltaliban what do u have to say to this.

Ibadan, Prof. Adeyinka Aderinto,
said in an interview at Ibadan on
Wednesday, that out of the
56,172 applicants who chose the
university through the Unified
Tertiary Matriculation
Examination (UTME) and Direct
Entry and the 26,769 candidates
who scored 200 and above sat
for the Post-UTME of the
university, and that only 9,268
candidates scored 50% and
above.
He added that only 3,783
candidates who met the school’s
approved admission criteria were
finally recommended to JAMB for
admission.
He said:

the best in Nigeria and have the

Hi guys. I was recently offered admission to study human kinetics and health education at ui. I applied for sociology initially but was offered human kinetics cause i was 2 marks away from the cutoff. I just want to know if it would be possible for me to cross over to sociology in 200 level?

To Begin with,Congratulations on your admission.

You won't know how lucky you are until you see aspirants with higher aggregates than yours who are as at presently have not been compensated with any course(no matter how unpopular it is).

To your question,Both courses(Sociology & Human Kinetics) are not under the same faculty and are not even inter-related whatsoever.So,you won't be able to change after your first year.

As Bobola will often say to people,It's advisable you gladly accept the course now and then re-take UTME this year and re-apply for your desired course in any institution of your choice.

� *29,403 out of the 56,172 had below 200 in Jamb and were automatically disqualified��‍♀��‍♂*

*As race got fierce*
� *26,769 sat for 2017 University Of Ibadan Post-Utme. Unfortunately, 17,501 failed. 9,268 was able to scaled through having had above 50% and above.*
