Proof of finance or subsistence doesn't guarantee visa approval, but its a necessary condition for granting student visa among oda things
thanks bro. So its still a 50 50 thing.

Truth is having a sponsorship or blocked account does not determine if you would be given a visa.

I know bout few cases where all the necessary documents were provided by student applicants and were still denied visas.

What guarantees that you will be given a visa is based on your performance during the visa interview aside having all the necessary documents is;

How well you did your research matters a lot,

How well you answer the questions,

How much you know bout your school, the course of study, the city were your school is located and the country.

How you compose and comport yourself during the interview,

How well you are able to convince your interviewer you are actually going for studies.

Etc....
I love this. Thanks for the eye opener, im grateful. The interview matters the most

Although funding or proving financial capability (weda tru blocked account, scholarship or sponsorship letter) is very important as visa CAN NEVER be granted without dat, even if ur required documents are 100℅ valid and complete, and even if ur interview was 100℅ wow

Yes it is around that figure but that's only if you convert the original fare which is in dollar to naira. you can book only if you have a dollar credit card.

I booked my ticket through wakanow, so they included their hidden charges I guess.

Wakanow doesn't have any hidden charges. All charges are visible. You would have made your travel date flexible to get better deal. Meanwhile, that price is costly for RAM. Turkish or Ethiopian would have been better.

Enjoy your trip to Deutschland. grin grin grin

Be positive that you will be granted visa. Rejection rate is low if your true intention of study is clearly evident. Meanwhile, money can be refunded on provision of your visa refusal letter.

Dressing doesn't really matter. A shirt with trouser should be fine if you are a male. You can suit up if you wish. The important thing is to just dress well.

Hello evribodii.
Honestly sum'thn just happened right now and I can't even lie this time...
My interview is coming and I've been thinking of what to wear...can I just go without a tie because honestly speaking I don't like wearing them...because I'm seriously angry if I have to use a tie in suit
Or I have to be dressed in the full package. Does it really count?
Thanks!

Since you are in your final year. My advice is to focus on your studies and graduate well. After that, you might decide to travel before or after NYSC. There's no guarantee when your NYSC call up will be. Only after graduation can you decide when you want to travel. Good luck in your final exams.

Hi BabaEuro, I am in my final year in school here in Nigeria.. By God's Grace I will be done with NYSC by end of 2019. With the intention of going for my M.tech immediately in Germany what's the most advisable time to begin my application?

Thanks for the info. But today being Friday, don't you think it will affect the delivery time as they may not be working on weekends.

Well, I sent this documents since 12th of December. The admission portal opened on the 11th of December and I had to complete my application that same day and sent it the next day. I beleive they would still consider me even if my documents arrive a few days after the Jan 15th deadline. The date of sending on the package will show I sent it early enough and that the delay was out of my control.

Hello again guys,

Apologies if this is the wrong place to ask questions about Family reunion visa for Germany.

I had my interview today and I was wondering what next? I heard they send a lawyer to your parents and family members, is this correct?

Thanks

Don't you think so?

Do you have to get health insurance before visa? If so how do you get it? And is it attached to the school?

I did my interview last year November, and I got my visa towards ending of December.

Please did they further request any document from you after approving your visa?

I am seeing talks about health insurance. Does Embassy request that? And how would I get it?

Deutschlandstipendium is a merit-based scholarship.
Alright sir. But aside this, are there others that can cater for living expenses?

Deutschlandstipendium is 300€ per month and you won't receive any other scholarship above 30€ during this period.
If they find out you have double scholarship, you have to refund all the money paid by Deutschlandstipendium. If your other scholarship is not European, you can combine without them knowing. Chat me up as I am a recipient.

300€ per month is already part of your living expenses as most schools here are tuition free. Check up DAAD website and your school website for more funding opportunities.
