Hello Justwise , please I would love to seek an advice from you, I finished my masters from the UK and returned in September 2017, my tier 4 visa was valid till October 3 so no overstay, I was in the UK for 20months, I have a valid US visa (though not used yet) and I also visited 3 shenghen countries (Amsterdam,Paris & Milan) during my time of study in the UK. But my problem now is my wedding is in June 2018 and I want to travel to the UK for just one month, initial plan was to apply for a visitors visa and just go and do my prewedding shoot / get some wedding things and after marriage my fiancé applies for me as his dependant but we just found out that I cannot be in the UK while he is applying. So we decided to do a registry marriage when I go over, so when I leave in March he would apply for me and we go back together after wedding. After searching online I found out I can’t do a registry marriage with a standard visitors visa but rather a marriage/civil partnership visa, please I would love to get advice on the possibility of getting that visa also I would like to state that I am applying in February, my fiancé put in some money in my account putting in 700k into my account I also had 300k before then, though I am not working for now but I run an online hair business on Instagram and they have been an in and out flow of money from my account since August and after my return. I would also be submitting an invitation letter and statement of account from my fiancé as my sponsor together with my own statement of account for the application. Also my fiancé came visiting in November 2017. I would really appreciate any idea or contribution to avoid any mistake or refusal of my application. Thanks in advance. |

He is a resident on an entrepreneurial visa and would be applying for his permanent residence by April 2019. He said the application needs to be made at least one year before his own application which is ending of March this year. |

justwise: Thank you for the response, I had already gone through the pages of their sight before now, my actual question is do you think with my story I have the chance of getting the marriage/ civil partnership visa since I have lived in the UK before? Have you seen anybody in this situation and finally with the way I put cash in my account would it be considered as money lodgement. Thanks once again. |

Goodmorning. Pls help look into this bugdet/breakdown.. pls criticise and contribute. So my friend earns 230k/month. (468£) She lives with her parent. Doesn't really spend her salàry except on fuel on weekends. She goes with staff bus. So she hardly touches salary. She had a small hair unregistered business (another bank account) but not regular income. Closing balance in salary account at this morning is 1,130m.(2,304£) She wants to spend 5nights in London. proposed bugdet is as follows: 1. Hotel (kessington&Chelsea)...105£(domitory of 8beds) 2. Flight .................................541£ ethiopian 3. Transportation ................. 20£ oyster card 4. Sightseeing .................. 70£ (some r free) 5. Breakfast/dinner. ........ (hotel comes with free breakfast n dinner 6. Lunch..........................20£ 6. Shopping ..................... 100£ Total. ........................................856£ Itininery proposed after research I came up with: Aŕrives London on the 21st @6.35am Settles in and rest till 2pm 3pm .......walks round the neighbourhood to earls court station that's close to hotel to the city to get oriented with the environ.(day 1) Day 2.....go to see London eye + river cruise +madam toussand.....we got this combo @31£ Day 3.....visit to trafalgar square and all the free attraction sites close around, lounge around n take tons of pics. Go clubbing after Day 4.....(sat) spend the day to see house of parliament, Westminster Abbey and Hyde park., takes london bus to see London at night Day 5.....(sun) church service @Westminster Abbey, light shopping....goes back early so she can park for departure Day 6.....(mon)...leaves early to burkingham palace to go see changing of the guard....(hotel check out time is 3.30pm) We hope she gets back to the hotel by 2pm so she can check out and heads to airport. Flight is 9pm. Pls who is familiar with this oyster card. Is 20£ reasonable for 5days t get her to the stated attractions? Is 20£ for lunch reasonable? Pls help us scrutinize this if there is anything I missed out. Thanks in advance. 2 Likes |

Cynthia1722: Your lawful stay in the UK is an advantage if you submit a watertight application, the financial requirement is not on you, its on your fiance to meet but if you are submitting any bank statement make sure you explain the source of money on it with evidence. Since the 700K was given to you by your fiance you need to present evidence of the transfer else it will be considered as money lodgment |
Re: General UK Visa Enquiries - Part 3 by justwise(m): 7:59am On Jan 12, 2018 |
Olowogbogboro17: The refusal letter made it pretty clear why you were refused, you paid money into your salary account which is not your salary and did not submit evidence to backup the 1Million naira you inherited from your late father. If you want to reapply you have to address those issues. |

iyaaliyah: Surely your friend has to register to ask this question herself , you have asked several questions previously on her behalf so its important that she register to help herself |

Haba!!! Firstly, it's still same question not several. I only edited out the breakdown after I was told to reduce the bugdet. Secondly, she has used all the emails she has and she keeps getting 'the username already exist with d email bla bla. Since I have an account, I said why can't I just use mine. Thats all. And I could have said I was the applicant but I have been on here a longtime to know there isn't point lying. Besides, we go tru the email together. If that will help us, I will tell her to get new email. justwise: |

FLEEEEEEEEEEEEEEE from agents. do yourself the greatest favor by reading from the very first page here. you will eventually tutor the supposed agent. cos agents have not even submitted applications for themselves before, let alone been to the embassy. emerich: 1 Like |
