Not required. But if you have your appointment letter or payslips, better go with them to support your claim if need be. Billyjim: 1 Like 1 Share |

Billyjim:No sir, if you have any one add it as supporting documents but not mandatory. Nobody cares since you are not going for EU Blue card visa which deals with work contract. Simply listing them in your CV is OK.You can even use offer letter in place of the experience certificate if you desire to prove you actually work there. 3 Likes |

BlackDeutsche:You only need travel insurance after your visa has been approved. Some schools require health insurance for enrollment purposes. 1 Like |

No need to worry. Resumption date doesn't matter. Enrollment deadline is what matters. If your enrollment deadline is near too, mail your course coordinator asking for enrollment extension. Good luck oladejitaiwo: |

e-ticket confirming date of travel. It's not a must. A written letter indicating travel date is okay. trojrobert: 1 Like |

Your enrollment deadline is 16/04/2018 and it's still far. No need to worry. Also, you can enroll by writing. Provide all the required documents for enrollment and pay your semester fees. You are good to go. oladejitaiwo: |

Please i have come again o...for RUHR and FAU applicants, how long after they recieved your documents did they update your admission status. And what does RUHR admission status say on your portal |
Re: General German Student Visa Enquiries Part 4 by Knaruto(m): 9:11am On Jan 13, 2018 |
Olanrewaju92:while Fintiba will charge u small fees of €4-5 monthly...Deustche Bank offers free service for the 2yrs u will run ya programme. Meaning no monthly service fee for 2yrs. But once ya programme ends and u decide staying back in Germany and continue using ya Deutsche Bank Account...Then u need to do some paperworks after which they will start charging the normal monthly fee as the account will now be converted from a Blocked Current Account to a Normal Current Account.... Hope this helps clarify the question on the difference between DB and Fintiba 2 Likes |

Immafrank: I plan on going to Germany for my spine surgery by June. But I intend to extend my stay basically for my physiotherapy. But I have a question, how do I get a permanent residence with medical visa? If I buy a business or start up one can they give me a PR? Also will like to register for my pgd and masters, any advice on how extend my 3months medical visa after my surgery. Any advice will be helpful. Thanks |

Re: General German Student Visa Enquiries Part 4 by BabaEuro: 11:02am On Jan 13, 2018 |
Kleinefrau:Please let the checklist be your guide. Some questions shouldn't be asked at all because it's funny how persons going for higher degrees can't even understand the requirements. The checklist clearly stated "Handwritten motivation letter " and you come here to ask if it should be typewritten. |
Re: General German Student Visa Enquiries Part 4 by Kleinefrau: 11:14am On Jan 13, 2018 |
BabaEuro: Eti binu? Don't be angry oo... It's just a question that demands an answer... Anyways it's not for higher degree... Just wanted you know. No vex. Will check the checklist... Thanks for your reply though. |

BabaEuro: Well, handwritten or typed, it doesn't matter. I've seen pple dat went with typed motivation letter and had no issue whatsoever. Even Mr. Paulinus will not even bother whether its handwritten or typed, to show you dat it isn't really a problem. I went with both handwritten and typed, and the VO categorically told me she prefers the typed motivation letter. Well, my advice. If you know you don't have a good or legible handwriting, then go for a typed one. Because if you end up getting someone to write it on your behalf and maybe on the day of your interview, u're given an A4 sheet to answer some of the questions before the oral interview, then I really don't know what it would be like when they discover that the handwritten motivation letter is obviously not written by you. Also, if you notice, handwritten letter of motivation was stated only at the first checklist on the general webpage when you click long term visa (student). But if you are trying to book an appointment, you discover that along the line there is another page showing the checklist of required documents, and it was just "MOTIVATION LETTER" that was mentioned, not handwritten motivation letter. Like I said, during my interview, I went with both and I personally asked the VO which is preferable since I saw handwritten motivation letter in their webpage. She said they prefer typed one as they often have problems reading some pple handwriting. So she collected the typed motivation letter and returned the handwritten one. MY ADVICE: If you can get both handwritten and typed, go with both. Then allow the VO to choose for himself or herself. OneLove 6 Likes |

Lalaski001: Don't bank on this cause most German universities will only take into consideration the day they received your document and not the day you post it. Application and enrollment deadline to some are legally binding that can not be changed or waived. Just pray the document gets there on or before the deadline. Shalom |

Xtinesam: Once you are done with your treatments, you are required to go back. If you need to stay in Germany or even start your masters, then apply for the right visa |
