Please answer my questions if you truly understand the word of God like Jesus did. Please expose the lies or errors inherent in my assertions on tithing so far.

The part of your message I bolded still shows you don't want to understand what happened in Acts 15. God would not be held responsible for your refusal to understand that tithing is not a new covenant requirement.

Learn to know what applies to Judaism and what applies to Christianity. Don't mix up both.

Tithe is not negotiable though is a choice.

Giving to the poor is not giving to the beggars either but the widows, the less privilege in your community before you give to outside.

Pastors riding private jet is not an excuse to not giving to Church. There are more churches without jets than there are those with in Nigeria. And many are not even planning to buy one ever e.g Baptist, Methodist, Daystar, ECWA, Anglican, Apostolic faith, CAC, Methodist, FourSquare etc.

2) Giving to the poor NEVER absolves you the responsibility of giving to church

As long as you are a Christian you have the responsibility to fund your church as all of us do because if we all Christian take your step of giving to poor then there would be no more Church-Whether you belief in Tithing or not, arrange a worthy sum of your income and head to a ministry that suits you like the Orthodox and pay your dues. Then also set aside something good enough for those in need or are poor around you.

If people don't pay tithes there will be no light in their church, probably no church building and the people who churches help will be left destitute. But then maybe we don't know if they wish to go to church in the wild sitting rocks and sand basking under the trees and sky.

People who don't give to the church and yet expect to sit there in comfort on service days are very thoughtless and sentimental about what they cannot control. They say to give as they please, but they would be the first to complain that church utilities are pathetic when nobody is giving since it isn't a law for Christians.

When you understand God's definition of tithe and procedures for tithing in Deuteronomy 14 v 22-29... you'll realize that your Pastor has deceived you.

Follow what Jesus says...not what your Pastor says.
