yea. You need system, an unlocked bootloader too and xiaomi mi unlock tools (if u don't have fastboot installed, you can flash the recovery with the fastboot that comes with it), . Contact on signature if u need more help.

some version will not work on miui. I had some issues with some then too, I've left miui so i can't really say which one u should download but u can try dos with mi5s at the back

kinda u are still on miui 8 n u r using xiaomi note series... my advice is stick to ur miui 8 cos natin dey for miui 9. but u can google d update n cjrck for review before u update.

I can attest to the awesomeness of GCam.

It's now very clear software makes all the difference.

It's most likely it's the software iPhones got going for it in the camera department.

My wife that has a DSLR professional camera was tripping for the photos I took using GCam portrait mode

Is your phone rooted?

If yes, download any file explorer with root like ES FILE EXPLORER.

Activate root option.

Tap on options, select Device, select System, select Build Prop, Tap Edit,

And type the command below:

persist.camera.HAL3.enabled=1

Click Save.

Reboot your phone.

Launch GCam...

How do I make my RN4X be exactly like this? Do I need to root? Or unlock the bootloader? Please i need the steps but hope I wouldn't need a laptop?

Pls, can someone tell me the use of FTP in the explorer app, I have been playing with it but i don't seem to understand how it works

FTP is File Transfer Protocol. It's a protocol ( or rule) for easily transferring files from one device to another. Copy files between your phone and PC.

To use it in File explorers such as ES File Explorer, X-plore (symbian OS, way to go), you have to setup the server and start it. Once it starts, connect your computer to the network it created. Go to your PC browser and enter the ftp address on it's server on app. If the server address is 192.168.20.1:8045, on your browser, enter something like 192.168.20.2:8045.

I'm sure you'll see you files and folders listed on the browser.

Let me know if this works
