OP, if you watch the movie “vatican tapes", it's all about various individuals who are demon possessed without them knowing.

I believe some people can be demon possessed without knowing thus their sudden deliverance in churches.

Will you know if you are possessed? Most times individuals don't know because there are various levels of possession. Witchcraft , Marine and so on. Some individuals might have been dedicated to small idols from child birth and as you all would know, a certain spirit would be residing in such individual even without he/she knowing, silently doing whatever damage it wants too. You said it all,he has wealth but no comfort. That might be the clause in his get rich white garment way. Thou shall not give to the needy. He already has a spirit residing within is family.

Here we go. . So possession is an african term. If supernatural series at some point could write about road side demons. those are not distinct symptoms of demonic possession, those COULD BE symptoms for plethora of mental disorders, that is why exorcist dont jump into conclusion that the peson is demon possesed.

excessively spiritual/religious people will see any mental disorder and call it demonic. for instance a schizophreniac will be depressed, violent, avoid social interactions, hallucinate and this will be automatically assumed as demonic possession by the religious. imagine a person telling you that they talk , play with and cook for some that had died years past. you could assume they talkinh to evil spirit while they only exhibiting their schizophrenic symptoms.

God bless you for raising this beautiful point. First of all to answer your question, I'll have to tell you the purpose of man on earth. You are created by God to be obedient to Him

But I'll also tell you the Devil's purpose, the devil was created by God to test or tempt man.

So you see the devil will throw everything at you to be disobedient to God but what he doesn't have is to make you carry out the act of disobedient.

So let's go back to Job. We all know the story of Job, how God betted everything he has on him. How God bragged about him that no matter the temptation the devil raise against him, he will not fall.

Can God bragged about any of us like Job? That no matter the Tribulations, no matter the temptation, we'll still remain obedient to him.
