You really need to be careful who you are dealing with because this doesn't sound right.

Nobody takes you to UK the same way you take a house boy/family member from village to Lagos.

Think long and hard if you are investing your money on this.

Dude this is fraudulent because he will not be able to take you to the UK, God knows where you will end up but not the UK because your chances of getting a visa is almost zero. Hopefully you will not end up as a drug mule

Hi Justwise,welldone...pls I need help.
I applied for tier 2 visa Bt was refused because of a document a personnel at VAC, Ikeja forgot to scan. I applied for administrative review and got a mail that it was successful and they are ready to issue me a visa. I sent my passport the next day through the VAC, and my passport is yet to be returned.... it's 8 weeks already and am freaking out. I have called several times and sent mails... they confirmed they are with my passport Bt still have to hold on to it.
I wanna confirm if it always take this long for visa stamping after successful administrative review .Thank you

My sister has invited me to the UK to visit her.

I want to lodge my application in few months but need to be sure I have all the required docs.

I intend to sponsor myself. But I really know nothing about visa application.
Need you help please.

So I own a school . School is all properly registered . I have a bank account under the schools name. I pay staff fees and all expenses from there. I don’t pay myself any salary. As it’s my business, I just take money off the account when needed.

I don’t know how to approach some of the questions on the forms. Ie ; my income.

Also please what documents do I need to submit. Please ask any questions if required. Many thanks to you all.

Hi justwise and all the Guru's in the house i need advise .. my journey here started in 2016 when i applied for settlement visa to join my hubby.. took about 6 months but visa was finally granted... anyways i have another issue now.. i applied for my mum to come over ( visitors visa) we paid for priority 5 days, Biometrics was done on the 6th of Dec i got a call on the 8th from home office (interview ) or ECO which ended with her saying ok thanks so much for your time hopefully your mum will see you soon.. i was happy bcause that sounded reassuring.. but till now her passort is not out its been way over 20 working days, i called them and they said its still under processing..

We applied that my husband and I are the sponsor, i work in a bank here annual pay is around £18k and hubby is self employed with turnover of over £40k we added our bank statements, we also included our nigeria coy with regular activity and balance of just above N10m , my mum is retired and also provided landed properties docs and bank statment showing her pension and also monthly up keep from her kids which comes to average of N120k. Monthly ... i dont understand what might be causing the delay and now am getting worried.. my mum is looking forward to the trip it would be disheartening if the visa is denied....

Goodmorning. Pls help look into this bugdet/breakdown.. pls criticise and contribute.
So my friend earns 230k/month. (468£) She lives with her parent. Doesn't really spend her salàry except on fuel on weekends. She goes with staff bus. So she hardly touches salary. She had a small hair unregistered business (another bank account) but not regular income. Closing balance in salary account at this morning is 1,130m.(2,304£) She wants to spend 5nights in London.
proposed bugdet is as follows:
1. Hotel (kessington&Chelsea)...105£(domitory of 8beds)
2. Flight .................................541£ ethiopian
3. Transportation ................. 20£ oyster card
4. Sightseeing .................. 70£ (some r free)
5. Breakfast/dinner. ........ (hotel comes with free breakfast n dinner
6. Lunch..........................20£
6. Shopping ..................... 100£
Total. ........................................856£

Itininery proposed after research I came up with:
Aŕrives London on the 21st @6.35am
Settles in and rest till 2pm
3pm .......walks round the neighbourhood to earls court station that's close to hotel to the city to get oriented with the environ.(day 1)
Day 2.....go to see London eye + river cruise +madam toussand.....we got this combo @31£
Day 3.....visit to trafalgar square and all the free attraction sites close around, lounge around n take tons of pics. Go clubbing after
Day 4.....(sat) spend the day to see house of parliament, Westminster Abbey and Hyde park., takes london bus to see London at night
Day 5.....(sun) church service @Westminster Abbey, light shopping....goes back early so she can park for departure
Day 6.....(mon)...leaves early to burkingham palace to go see changing of the guard....(hotel check out time is 3.30pm)
We hope she gets back to the hotel by 2pm so she can check out and heads to airport. Flight is 9pm.

Pls who is familiar with this oyster card. Is 20£ reasonable for 5days t get her to the stated attractions?
Is 20£ for lunch reasonable?

Pls help us scrutinize this if there is anything I missed out. Thanks in advance.

Thank you for posting this. You have helped me plan my trip!

I am single and in my late 30s and I applied for and received a UK visitor visa in 2015 to attend a conference in the UK. My Salary at the time was 400k monthly and I had been working with the company for 3 months by the time I applied. The company was sponsoring my trip and supported my application with a letter stating the same and also with the company bank statement. I travelled for the conference and stayed 2 weeks. I also went in December of the same year on my own and stayed for almost a month.

I have been with another company for 4/5 months now and monthly salary is 500k Naira monthly, I usually have say between 250k and 500k left in the account before new salary comes in at the end of the month (it’s been closer to 500k within the last 2/3 months).
I have been told that I would stand a better chance if I had been applying with the same company I was with when I was last granted a visa in 2015. Also, what are my chances if I apply on my own (sponsor myself)? Does the company I now work with have to support me this time around again for me to stand a good chance of obtaining a UK visitor visa?

Your salary level is good you don't need any financial help from your current company and they shouldn't fund your personal leisure trip.

Apply after 6months with the current company and submit your salary account and payslips supported with employment letter.

If the school is your only source of income then declare the money from the school as your income.

Read this thread regarding the list of documents to submit because such question has been answered countless time here.

Good morning Justwise and other gurus in the house. I once applied for Tier 5 visa but was refused. I want to reapply again and am to go for biometrics on January 22, 2018. My Tuberculosis test certificate will expire on January 27, 2018. Please can I still use it or I must do another tuberculosis test? Thanks

Good afternoon Just wise, I don't know if you remember my previous threads.

I'm applying for standard visa to write an exam.

I'm sponsoring myself with money I saved over time from my salary.

I plan to state in my application that my husband is the main bread winner and caters for most of the family upkeep.

My question:

Is it compulsory that I submit my husband's bank account statement to prove that he earns a salary?

There are some money lodgements there that may be too tedious to explain.

Also in about 2 months, he spent more than his salary as we had projects to pay for during that period. He also has months were he spends far less than his salary. His account has never gone below N300k in all this.

Can I submit only his payslips from the last 6 months and letter from his workplace?

For those who have successfully applied for UK visas, please how did you pay the visa fees? Which payment option is easier, faster and safer?

Thank justwise, apparently my mum's passport has been out and visa granted since 10th Dec. But we did not recieve email or text message.. a frd of mind who also applied for same 5 days expedited visa told me he appiled this jan and got it 6days lrt.. i told my sister and she was furious and went to the office that she was going to complain about our mum's own, only for her to get there they said the passport has been out since dec so here is the timeline.

Biometrics Dec 6th
Got a call from ECO 8th Dec
Visa issued 10th.

Am so excited will see my mum soon.

Yes its compulsory to submit your husband's bank statement and payslips to support your application since he is the sponsor.

You can't submit just the payslip and letter from his workplace.
