Griezmann or dybala would be the ideal signing for the team in the summer
How does getting Sanchez affect the signing of Griezmann or Dybala who can comfortably play and improve our RW?
Sanchez will most likely replace Lingard in our starting 11 as the man behind Lukaku and that leaves us still needing an upgrade on Mata on the RW wing which is where the players you listed can fit in.

Una dey make me laugh

Those of you saying we should get mahrez, have you heard any report that says we are interested in him? Sanchez is being served on a platter for us to buy and una dey say make we buy Mahrez wey the club no dey even look him side, the earth will not shake if we get both players, getting Sanchez doesn't stop us from fixing the right wing, we have come this far with the right wing being the way it is and we are doing Okay, Getting Sanchez will be a big plus and will certainly make us more dangerous up front, Lingard and mata can easily fill that right wing position til the end of the season if we don't get mahrez... if we lose Sanchez to Man City or Chelsea and not sign Mahrez we will be the biggest losers in the TW, Why not take the quality that is placed in front of you rather than fantasize about fairy tale signings that don't seem imminent

Arsenal offered Sanchez the same 350 City offered him? I very much doubt that. I heard Arsenal offered him 300 but he didn't want to sign because of no guarantee of trophies. Then his high wage demands made sure only Man City could offer him such amount coz Bayern couldn't, but Wenger refused to let him go.

Now that City went back, he upped his wage demands from what City would've paid him last season (350 to 400 with 15mil for agent) and it infuriated City. That's the major problem why City backed out. He increased his wage demand. For me, it's all about the money for Sanchez. He's greedy.

I am not overly excited about his imminent arrival but I know he will be a quality addition to the attack, it's just like seeing a quality shirt in a boutique that is better than all the Shirts you have in your house and you say you won't buy it because it's socks you don't have and you have the money to buy both, It's not as if buying the shirt will stop you from buying the socks that you are yet to see

My own is, we must not let Sanchez go to City or Chelsea when we are not sure of getting Mahrez or any other quality player

All those ones Wey Una dey yarn na Una own. Alexis would be a wonderful addition to the squad. He can do a better(by a huge distance) job at RW than anyone else here.
He made his name at udinese playing that position. Everyone seems to have forgotten.
LW, Ss, RW, mans will upgrade the team. Even if na just this half season and the next, I won't complain too much.
We are not going to be giving him a 10 year contract anyway.
Re: Official Manchester United Fan Thread:''20 Times EPL Champion by PietroRico(m): 12:52am On Jan 16, 2018
And yea, the talk of him lacking motivation is bullsheet until as far as I'm concerned.

And the previous year he was the highest scorer at psg. An ageing player is an ageing player is an ageing player.

How many years did we get from Rooney after he turned 30? How many +40m players give world class performances consistently after turning 30?

"I am not confident [on United getting Sanchez], but also not unconfident. Just relaxed and we have the feeling that he is an Arsenal player. We have the feeling that he can stay there.

"But also the feeling that he can move and if he moves, I think we have a chance. But, I think most probably, a player like him has other big clubs interested. Who knows? I think him, Mr Wenger and Mr Gazidis [Arsenal's chief executive], I think they know really what is going to happen.

"I have no idea to be honest. Today I was completely separate from all of that. I was focused on my match and not worried about anything else other than the match. I'm not going to speak about hypothetical situations, he is an Arsenal player and he can be an Arsenal player. But I feel I shouldn't speak about him because he is an Arsenal player."

"He [Mkhitaryan] is our player, he is a Manchester United player, so I can speak about him. He is a player that I like, of high quality, who can give us a lot. If he stays here, he is a very good player.

"This season he started very well and then he came a little bit down. Last season he was an important player and helped us win the Europa League, so let's see what's going to happen.

"Is he going to be involved in a deal and leave us? It's possible but it's also possible that he stays. We have to protect him and to protect the team a little bit, so let's make sure that he stays with us or that he leaves us. The market is open. It's a pity that the window closes on the 31st, it should close tomorrow."

"I have a squad of 22 players and I want to keep the squad of 22 players. Maybe, just because I want to make the kid [Tuanzebe] a good player and I'm not giving him the chances the chances I am giving to Scott McTominay.

"Axel Tuanzebe [could go out on loan] because he plays in a position where I have so many players. Today on the bench I had Marcos Rojo and Lindelof and Bailly is still in recovery so I'm not giving the chances to Axel.

"So Axel is probably the only one I can leave the open door for him to go and play [elsewhere] because I believe he is a really good talent, and he needs to go and play. But apart from that, we need the numbers we have, because we are playing in the Champions League, FA Cup and Premier League. I have to keep the number of players we have."

Re: Official Manchester United Fan Thread:''20 Times EPL Champion by Oasis007(m): 6:40am On Jan 16, 2018
"I think the first half was not very good, I think Stoke had a good, positive attitude. We scored an amazing goal, but it was not enough to hurt them because they had a very good reaction, they were very positive, they had the best chances in the first half, and then we were a bit lucky to score the second goal, another beautiful one.

"In the second half it was different, the second half was harder for them, 2-0 was difficult for them to react to, we were in control of the game. They just had the one chance at the end with Diouf when we were 3-0 up with amazing goals. We had lots of chances to score the third goal and to kill the match before we did. But to say the match was in our control from the beginning, I wouldn't say that because I think they [Stoke] were good.

"We were sometimes too calm, sometimes too slow, in the first half and we let them get compact and organise quite easily. In the second half we improved, we moved the ball quicker, we had faster transitions, we passed the ball and recovered the ball and we created them problems."

- JOSE MOURINHO
Re: Official Manchester United Fan Thread:''20 Times EPL Champion by Oasis007(m): 6:42am On Jan 16, 2018
"I think the distance between first and second is still big, distance that normally, the leader controls. I've been there before, you play without pressure, you play with confidence, you play with a tranquility that you can slip and make a few errors no problem, so it's up to them [Manchester City] to keep the confidence and to control their destiny.

"But it doesn't matter what the points distance is to me, what matters is that every match we have to win and we have to try and finish in the best possible position

"At the same time we have to be the best team possible because next year is another season and it's a little bit of a continuation from this season, so if we manage to arrive at the end of the season with a good level of footballing performance it will help us to be better next season."

- JOSE MOURINHO

"Valencia can do anything. And when he scores, he really scores fantastic goals. I am really happy for him. He was away injured but he came back, played well and scored a goal.

"He [Martial] scored yesterday the same goal in training but instead of Paul's pass, it was my pass. I was making the assists for the finishing. It was a great assist and the same shot!"

- JOSE MOURINHO
Re: Official Manchester United Fan Thread:''20 Times EPL Champion by Oasis007(m): 6:44am On Jan 16, 2018
"He was moving the ball fantastically well, with long passes changing the direction and creating problems for the opponent. He had an assist and if he had scored the free-kick with the last shot of the game, it would be really a reward for him.

"I think he is happy with the way the team is playing and he's happy because the team is changing the profile and the profile is going more in his direction."

Even this season....its not unlikely! All of a sudden 15 points have become 12? I've seen 20 points and 16 points leaders end up with no titles at the end of the season! Assholenal fans can tell you what we used their eyes to see in 2003 as proof!
