Hi everyone, for my fellow lawyers and people who want to use IQAS, don't let the processing time on their website scare you away ( currently it says 12 to 13 weeks) as it can be less than that. I got the email from them on the 4th of December that they have received all documents and yesterday my ECA was mailed to me ( around 6 weeks). God's Grace to us all on this journey 7 Likes 2 Shares |

ysteph: Good morning, My documents were delivered on the 1st of November and on the 14th I contacted them asking for an update. of course they replied saying I had to wait 4 weeks. on the 1st of December they sent a mail stating they had received all my documents except for the application form. this was weird because my contact in my school included all the documents in the envelop with my transcript. Anyway I faxed the application Form to them using hello fax on the 2nd of December. 2 Likes |

galax1: You can move to Canada from anywhere in the world. As for schools that give scholarship, I think you'll get more answers if you ask that question on the schooling in Canada thread and not here. |

Good morning House! I need clarification on POF. Can i use my pension statement as evidence of POF for MPNP considering that i will be entitled to 25% upon resignation and as a banker, the NOC i used when entering the pool was 0122 but a friend said the NOC is not correct for bankers. Pls help clarify. Thanks |

galax1: If you have a scholarship, then you can go otherwise dont because there is NO opportunity for Blacks unless if you want to do business thereby creating your own opportunity. Make sure you live within the school premises (not necessarily inside the school) to avoid stories with the Police that invade houses at night. If you are in Malay with valid Student visa and spend up to 6 months, you can migrate to any part of the world from there. That is even easy because the embassies are not crowded since Malays dont travel except to study in the US/UK/AUS and return home. You can just walk into the embassy and have your visa processed within a short period of time unlike the months it takes in Nigeria. Best of luck. 2 Likes |

Yes you can use your pension statement. There is no single NOC that covers work experience for bankers. Your JD determines what NOC you will choose. You can post your JD here so that people can help with options. DEEAJA: |

wealth360: You do not need to create another profile, just check for possible errors. It's possible that if you use a mouse, while you were scrolling, you might have innocently entered a wrong information. It happened to me in the DoB field. I crosschecked and updated accordingly. ECA couldn't have made you ineligible 1 Like |

Correction please, both should be on the reference. In your profile, you would have picked the one that you want to base the application on, so base it on the one with longer period. Your reference should have two job roles....e.g Credit Officer March 2013 – January 2015 • Obtain and analyze financial ............................ • Evaluate blah blah blah Manager, Market Risk January 2015 to Date • Create and map ........................................ • Ensure that data captured i................................ • Prepare quarterly ........................ caon: 1 Like 1 Share |

ModestGal: Is it paid? Is it full-time (or an equal amount in part-time)? Does it fall under NOC 0, A or B? Can you get a reference letter and/or other proof of work from the employer (if any)? If yes, then it's fine. You might also need to show bank statement as proof of pay during your time in employment but that doesn't happen always. |
