Good Morning all Sabi Mamas I have not been able to sleep for some nights now because of my baby's navel which disturbs him from time to time especially at nights. Please if you had similar experience, share how you went about treating him because i do not know and would not want to make a mistake of giving him what may disturb him further. Thanks

Na wa for dis our babies,I just dey thank God say I bought enough of bibs and burp clothes cos dis our babies are not taking it easy @ all, may the Lord strengthen dem, I hope Cole is not too old to use mitten If not den use it for him to prevent him from sucking.

Get correct hand gloves not mitten o, wear it 24hrs thank God the weather is cold so it will jus blend.

U can get 2 or 3 so you change when one gets dirty.

Even my babe does the spitting thing o. Izz like she enjoys playing with it sef, cos as I'm wiping off spittle, she's bubbling out more, as if purposely. And then, she sucks on her fist. She wee jus bee sucking it as if she's hungry, even when she's fully fed. Hope that one no follow for hand sucking abi? Cos I'd like to think she's just playing?

Hehehe... I sucked my thumb as a kid tho, till around 6-8 years ish I remember my mum doing all sorts to make me stop, including dashing me hot slaps in the middle of the night from my ulala land. I remember I even prayed to God to make me stop thumb sucking or kill me if I suck again

Can't even remember how I stopped.

I remember I sucked too but it was because my sis was sucking and I was a copycat. Though I stopped way before her cos hers was natural and mine artificial. She also stopped around that age I guess.

so My daughter will be 6 months next week and I fought really hard to breastfeed her exclusively it was nt easy to tell ple hey dnt guve her dis, dont stick lollypops in her mouth.... ple can be funny sha. lollypop!!!!!

What's the best way to do it? wat do I need to buy, cereals, foods, wat type of milk, someone suggested peak123. I've started giving her water from d bottle BT she can't latch on d teat so I use spoon. I need ideas ooooo.

Na frustration na My mum had done everything possible, from pleading with me, to yabbing me, to threatening me with all sorts, plus bitter leaf rubbing, plus hot pepper rubbing. She even threatened to slice my thumb into two and pour hot pepper inside!
She would wrap my thumb with plaster and dare me remove it, I would suck through it till all the gum is gone and it falls off itself
She blasted me so tey, I felt I was cursed. I was kukuma frustrated o. I still sucked even after the prayer o See me begging for forgiveness na, when I caught myself sucking!

Thank God he doesn't answer all our prayers o I for don die on top sucking matter

How old is your baby? It might be colic if he is still below 3mths

Check any supermarket close to you
There's Nan2, aptamil and others

For cereal, there's nutribom, cerelac and others. Check the tin to be sure it's written for babies 6 months upwards

The teething process has began but the teeth may not come out yet. My baby started drooling and had itchy gum around 3 months and at 5 months, the first tooth came out while the 2nd one followed a week after. Now we have 2 teeth and some days ago i noticed his palm and feet were a lil hot, so i gave him pcm. I dont know about meds for teething tho. But if he has a temperature, u can give pcm or neurofen like mums here suggest.
